Bastid, I don't know why, but your profile picture combined to your comments, every time I read you, I'm kind of thinking it's this rude professor (Not that you are rude in your comments) reprimanding me after a big failure at my tests!80% diet, exercise has a limited impact unless you're pushing weights and building muscle.
Okay, back to the subject. If it's 80% diet, why am I under the impression that I'm not losing weight at all while I'm following this LCHF quite strictly?
Like Mike, from June to December last year, I was exercising 1 hour per day (30min in the morning and 30 more in the evening) and I lost about 14kg. Then things happened I put back 10kg in a record of time.
I started this LCHF because I'm lazy to exercise (actually to wake up early) during winter and I did lose about 5 kg in the first 2-3 weeks. Then shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nothing!
Thank you Randhir. It's more like 90% diet. People are different, you get different effects. I've hit a bit of a weight plateau and was getting bummed, then I realised the belt I bought recently (to replace the belt that I had to get rid of because I couldn't tighten it any more) was also getting on the loose side for me. Keep at it, monitor what you're putting in, and adjust accordingly.

You must be feeling super miff and bloated from all that bad stuff - although I'm sure it tastes damn good.
if I remember, I'll post some stuff when I'm back in SA next week as I'm pretty much limited to random mobile posts at the moment.
I'm in the US having a carb blowout as it's virtually impossible to avoid them here unless you want to pay a small fortune to eat.
Typical hotel breakfasts consist of cereals, waffles, pancakes and jams, bacon and eggs are rare unless you find a good diner
Because eggs are completely totally unrelated to blood lipids.Just a comment for a Saturday morning. I was a bit worried about my cholesterol increasing with the increased consumption of eggs but I recently did a vitality check and I'm lowest ever been! 3.2!
Le Creuset of course![]()
Going shopping sometime this weekend for LHCF friendly ingredients and the like.
Anything that should definitely be on the list?
Bacon. Eggs. Steak. Chicken. Butter. Broccoli. Salt. Spinach. Cream.
Where does butternut fit into Banting or doesn't it?
.......
Any banting friendly crackers I can purchase? For snacks and the like?
