The best indie games

Yeah, I have to agree there. Ive never even heard of the games mentioned in the article to be honest, they look pretty decent and fun, but they have hardly generated the hype that the three above mentioned titles did, so I dont see how they could be the "best".

Honestly, if your game becomes extremely popular and tops charts sure, but calling a game "best" when it has been played by 3250 odd players (Planet M.U.L.E. is my example), World of Goo probably has had a few hundred thousand people play it in South Africa alone.

I feel like the big Indie titles have been overlooked a little :(

EDIT: now that I think of it, osmos made me think about Biology Battle when I saw that it was in a sort of style of "you are a cell" sense.

Just give the demo a try. Really amazing adventure game with fantastic atmosphere.

If you like hard but fun platformers, try Spelunky! And stuff like Cave Story and La Mulana which I won't bother to link.
