The best ISPs in SA

[sarcasm]my word telkom is not on the list? sure this is a mistake?[/sarcasm]

lol @ axxess being the best. yeah cause they blame all the errors you occur on Telkom, so any noob will think axxess rocks cause nothing ever their fault. had unshaped account with them for 6 months, what a joke to deal with them. moved to Telkom ISP and no regrets yet...

never had a problem with axxess since their ccp was introduced. they deserve it imo.

I wish M-web got something for being the only ISP to abide by the ICASA regulations regarding uncapped local only access.

Go axxess you can do it , great pricing 100% happy with your service ...

When was this survey run ? I seem to have missed it

An email was sent out regarding the survey as well as the Wantitall competition IIRC. So you saw the competition bit but missed the survey bit?:D

Good to see my ISP (WA) there and also nice to know who the other contenders are. I have to constantly suggest ISP's to people who are getting online. Now I have 3 to provide.

SAOL are going backwards with every passing year:
  • Limited non-innovative product list.
  • Very rigid product range - can't be tailored to customers needs.
  • No 24-hour support.
  • Newest addition: you can't get to their site to top-up anymore when capped - you have to phone them.

Huh? Axxess b4 WebAfrica...that's a first...
No doubt in my mind that WA is the best in SA, especially that they are bigger and been around a LOT longer...
Should have entered the survey!

*Bangs head on desk*

Oh well

Web Africa won in 2006 and 2007, but Axxess came out the clear winner in 2008. That however does not mean that WA is not an excellent ISP - just look at the scores. If you score over 80% it is excellent - it gives a srong indication that their subscribers are very happy and that one can be very comfortable supporting them.
