Bitcoin futures trading is kicking off in December with CME, and JP Morgan announced it might provide access to that. SA is likely about to be downgraded further into junk by the ratings agencies on Friday. Sounds like it could be a good time to buy. There will always be risk. But don't waste 1% on taker fees. Put in a buy order a bit lower than the current price.

Yarr, get in before friday, I'm expecting the 'worst' with the downgrade:D

For that exact same reason Im considering buying more, but will have to wait for the next dip first.

No matter what I do in SA, as soon as any of my SA savings hit my norwegian bank account I get slapped with a 45% income tax on it, so it's pretty much worthless to me over here. May as well just play the BTC until such time as we can regularly pay directly with BTC.

I see ETH has also increased by 10% over the last week on the down low.

gold shares may be the "canary in the mine" esp drd for some reason.....re possible ZAR weakness come Friday, coming December ANC fracas. DRD historically a first responder to gold price/ZAR weakness , geared to that
No DRD break out (yet)
So a strategy will be to watch it closely , there may be an opportunity to buy btc as a first responder

Has anyone successfully claimed their BTC Gold? If so, can you please share some more details?

I dont think BTG is going anywhere, want to dump it and buy more BTC.

Ive seen one can apparently claim via die Coinimi wallet?

the volumes and prices on bitcoinity =localbitcoins
a bit of hot cash moving , you can see it in the price the blokes pay on occasions
volumes in general lowish

Did you have your bitcoin in the Coinmi wallet at the time of the swap? You surely know by now that it needs to be in a wallet that supports it, in which case it will be there now and you can trade it.

My BTC is stored in a different wallet.

From the research that Ive done one can still claim it in the Coinimi wallet if you import your private keys. I am a little sketchy to do this, until I can get re-assurance from others that there is no risk.

question for you guys,

as shapeshift min transaction limits are too high for me, (faucet claims)
and changeelly same exact story,

how do you move altcoins or convert them to BTC?

Normally just sell and buy on exchange again. With ETN I am forced to use cryptopia.
