Why not just look at depositing Rand when you have the funds available and keep them in your wallet?
Two reasons:

1.) I'm more likely to spend it if it's just lying there but more importantly,
2.) Luno isn't a registered financial institution that can insure my funds. Fiat belongs in a bank - I'm paying them for a service where my money is protected and I prefer to keep it that way.

My #1 criticism is your lack of stop-loss functionality. That people need to depend on alerts and being connected to manage their assets isn't good enough. Everything else is secondary.

But yeah - I'm otherwise very happy with luno. I've had no issues at all, funds always clear quickly and the luno app is really nice to use. Appreciate your being here to answer questions :).

100k next lol?

Lots of posters sold their Bitcoin, hoping for it to drop again before the fork to buy in again. What are you planning to do now, buy before the fork for Bitcoin Gold or wait for the drop in Bitcoin price after the fork?

So this is exactly where I am sitting.

Sold at 77, rebought at 88, then got nervous and sold at 84, now I am waiting. I know the last move was bad of me. The first was good to sell at 77 as I had bought in the ranges of 57 - 67.

Been reading a lot this morning and it seems most people anticipate continued growth till the fork this week, then a slight drop and then continued growth.

I am waiting for it to drop a little before, hopefully back to 84, then I will buy and ride it out till next year I think. I reckon by end of 2017/beginning of 2018 we will be a lot higher.

Thanks, I hope you're right.

Not to be rude, but all that info is freely available on their site .... unfortunately I don't know it off by heart, so can't give you a short version :p

EDIT: Lunomoney to the rescue ;)

Does anyone know the exact time of the bitcoin gold fork on 25 October? Will it be dangerous to trade after the fork? i.e. if I buy soon after the fork what are the risks of replay attacks? Also, when is the segwit 2x fork happening? Early November from what I understand, but do we have a more exact date yet? Thanks guys :)

By the way I love this thread, have been lurking for a while ;)

Quite hard to pinpoint the exact time, Bitcoin Gold mentions they'll fork at block 491407. They've got a countdown on their site, not sure how accurate it is https://btcgpu.org/faq/

It all depends how quickly blocks are mined on that specific day.

2X is forking on block 494784, around 16 November http://bashco.github.io/2x_Countdown/

Welcome to MyBB :)
