When buying ETH with cash on Luno - Where do you see the price you're paying for the ETH ?

One way you can do it is buy BTC with ZAR on the exchange and use the ETH/BTC exchange to buy ETH. No fees involved, else you get shafted with Lunos strange fee structure when buying ETH

So if i buy ETH on Luno with cash, there's a moerse fee, but with Btc no fees ? And still, where does it show the ETH price ?

I recently purchased R20k ETH on Luno. They knocked me R7k and only ended up with R13k worth. Highly pissed at that.
Purchased some more last week using BTC and got what I expected. So ye, BTC to ETH. Not ZAR.

Question... Is there a fee if I purchase BTC with ECH? Keen to bounce around a bit, but concerned with fees going back to BTC.

On the website/app. The chart has a drop down menu on the top right. You can select BTC/ZAR chart or ETH/ZAR. But if you buy ETH using ZAR it will probably buy higher than that plus fees.
There will only be no fees if you do it through the exchanges

Use the exchange for ETH to BTC for no fees. Same taker/maker fee structure applies

WHOA :wtf: is that in print somewhere on the site or during the transaction? If not, then you were properly done in. 35% fee is robbery.

I was supposed to get 2.65 ETH at confirmation. Entered pin and got 1.77 instead. Robbery.
Luno just threw their arms in the air spouting liquidity blah and that is that.
Happened to about 20 of us that AM according to the investigation done by Dolby. Dolby was taken for about R7k too.

And what grates my balls is not a single story about it from mybb despite numerous attempts at bringing it to their attention.

I feel your pain, had a whole rant in this thread about pretty much the same thing. The fact is the Luno app and system is buggy/laggy. Their support don't give a fook and they are pretty much robbing their customers. I will never use their platform again after the terrible treatment I received. Why do we, THE CUSTOMERS, have to pay for their incompetence?

Add me to the 7k list too. Thanks

Is it me or are bitcoin investors fickle? Why would people put money on bitcoin and yet push the prices down for no reason whatsoever?

Big whales collude to make big profits manipulating price. They make noons panic sell. Then buy low drive price up. Rinse repeat at different intervals

Yeah, why wait for the price to just go up when you can make it go down and up again to double your returns. Like this morning again. Another 10% drop and increase back to where it was.

Is there a way to monitor Luno BTC send fees, their dynamic fee pricing is a killer. I want to send BTC when network is not too busy

But isnt then in their best interest to make it increase significantly like it did to R317 000, and then have to drop to like R250 000?
