I am currently at 5.5hours on a pending transfer to another wallet

There is huge congestion on btc transactions. TX fees have steadily been climbing so lots of transactions are delayed as they get pushed back in the queue for people willing to pay more.

Luno are secretive about their dynamic because they probably add a big markup. Our BTC transfers are submitted by Luno at such a low satoshi/byte rate that they don't get processed when there is high volume like now.

No, this is a Luno thing. The TX has not even reached the mempool

I am pretty sure I read somewhere that they automatically calculate a 3 blocks fee, to make sure it does get processed. I don’t think this is a TX fee issue though, but rather Luno not even performing the TX yet

My transfer is also still pending. The worrying thing here is Luno's silence. Will anyone who receives feedback on the matter please share it here. Are fiat withdrawals still working?

I think we are all so busy looking at 5min-1hr performance we cant see the wood for the trees.

One day performance. Blue line is the 100 day EMA. Perfectly acceptable performance.

I wish we could just specify out own TX fee. Luno taking 0.001 BTC from us for the Fee and then slashing it when they send out the BTC smells like bullsh*t profiteering

Only for those who bought at least three weeks ago. For those who bought at R300k, this is not "perfectly acceptable performance". :D:o

For day traders no. For long term investors yes. Thing is I see a lot of people on here who are confused.

No third party involved in transactions is what they said.
