This is threefold. Some investors are pulling out to do their Christmas shopping, some are panicking and selling, and a lot have sold to buy at a lower value. The office bitcoin gurus are panicking.
I'm walking away from this, will look at my portfolio in a few weeks.

Same. Bought some more in the dip now just leaving it and will check it in Jan.

Because that's what real traders do. Buy low instead of panicking and selling when you're already down ~50%.

You only lose the money if you sell/cash out. Your amount of BTC is still the same.

Bitcoin cash is down 30% and so is Ethereum. So it's not like people are selling Bitcoin for other coins.

Im hoping that these guys are going to buy again in preparation of the fork.

Ye. I am down R17k at the mo, but exercising HODL like never before.
Down about R4k on ETH too.
