BTC on Luno still a bit too high at the moment after this drop. Arbitragers will send us down closer to R186k unless the US exchanges recover quickly.

The conference is set up by Bitcoin.com. The owner is Roger Ver who is pushing for Bitcoin Cash to take over. This is just more of him spreading FUD about Bitcoin.

Roger Ver and Jihan Wu are selfish *&%$^ that will sink Bitcoin to push their Bcash crap to enrich themselves. Whether it destroys Bitcoin and everybody else's investment or not. I am NOT a fan :(

Hopefully the Ligtning Network launches Q1/2 on Bitcoin, making Bcash obsolete.

Another BTC fork coming up this month - Bitcoin Private (BTCP). First ever private bitcoin and fork from two coins, ZClassic + BTC. Bitcoin code + anonymous payments sounds good. Could be better than XMR and I hate to say it, XVG for completely anonymous payments.

It has 2MB blocks and only 2.5 minute blocktime, so transactions should be pretty fast and cheap.

I tried to buy R7000 worth of Etherum through ZAR and they are charging me close to R2000 fees on Luno, is this right? What are the options?

To avoid the ridiculous fees on Luno when you try to get Ether, you'll have to use the exchange first to get Bitcoin and then the BTC/ ETH exchange. If you're a maker both times you'll pay no fees, even being a taker both times will be better than those ridiculous fees on instant buy/ sell aimed at ripping off beginners. I don't think you can use the BTC/ ETH exchange on IOS but I may be mistaken, if that's the case and you don't have an android just use a computer

Thanks. I'll buy BTC and use it to convert to Ether.

Both, it’s extremely unlikely Luno will support another fork again.
Hence, if you want to participate in a fork, get your coins under your control with your own private keys.
Care to explain? If i have some eth in a Jaxx wallet do i automatically qualify?
Is there a minimum amount
