Sheesh, poloniex just had a 500btc buy order on $13k... hells bells, $6.5million one go

and looks like sell off now...
 
I've been watching this evening with wide eyes! Spent the day out of cell signal so sold up most of my holdings just in case it crashed again... Typical... Now waiting for a decent drop to buy back in again! Thankfully I'm nearly at my target profit of R80k over the last 2 months.

I have had to settle for my target of 1.5mil this last month, it has been tough. Definitely not the same market end of last year where i was pocketing 200k a day.

Just out of interest, what sort of amounts are you using to trade? My strategy has been to leave around R40k of bitcoin I don't touch and trade with another R40k. At this point I'm just playing with my profit. R1.5mil is obviously an amazing profit, well done! But I'd love to know if it's because your trading abilities are much greater than mine (which is very possible!) or if you're trading much larger volumes?

Yea, Life must be tough if you're profiting 200k a day :/
Guess that yacht of yours is high on maintenance if you're moaning :D

It was usdt, 8.35-8.36pm, just one big buy spike over a few seconds of 500btc, which of course sucked up all the sell orders for $500 or so and the went back to normal.

Edit: notice this a while back, but has become very noticable lately due to low bch volumes, how Vers bots try to keep volume and price up on bch with btc, and not just on poloniex, its on all exchanges...

What would be the right amount to put a order in at? I have 5K extra to Toss in.. just not sure what price to buy in at..
Also if it makes a difference, I’m using Luno

The fear of it not going down.. I set it at 155 and as I seen it approaching 155 , I cancelled and put it at 150 now.. as soon as I see it approaching 150, I’m gonna cancel and put it do 145 lol

I was just being like a typical crypto poster :-) A bit facetious on my part.

In total my profits from crypto sit around R200k starting from middle November last year. It has been a mixture of day trading, luck and the boom in alt's during december - I started with 50k last year, i now sit with about 75k in the crypto market, the rest is in my pocket.
