Didn't really have any issues in the hardlock down of 2020. Car was still purring fine and dealership was happy with it

Been fine.

Granted I don't get 4.0l/100kms with short city driving.

Its been less kind to the suspension components of the car potentially which have now developed a bit of an annoying squeak which is due to be sorted out soon.

On paper you're right. The current Hybrid darling, the Rolla Cross Hybrid is getting 5 side.

That is madness. Why would you not spec your hybrid at the top end? Or at least allow for that as one of the variants?? I watched a review which actually said the Corolla hybrid is better specced than the Cross. Which is also kinda strange. I might be wrong - I looked at it a few months ago...

One of my closest Mates has one of these. It’s always a conversation starter on how he gets 1100km in a tank. Very efficient cars and look beautiful in M-Sport guise.

4L per 100km is achievable, but its not an easy task.

Best I ever achieved in my 320d was 4.08L per 100km for a 800km round trip @ 100km/h (E90 facelift)

Pump figures, not OBC.

I drive my 330d (SW & DP) like I stole it and still get 7L per 100km in town and about 5.5-6 on the N1

Driving the 320D E90 here, 13.5Km/l.
