I ordered on Cyber Monday and I'm also still waiting for my order.

Also in the same boat. Estimated time of delivery is between the 8th and the 13th (today) which I doubt will happen.

Good news regardless for me. I feared it was lost in SAPO, but I think we'll eventually get our stuff. Myprotein FB chat wasn't helpful, but said up to 30 days is the maximum.

Yes I was.

You should receive a tracking number from Jersey Post, not the HUT one, the one that starts with EE. Check on the SAPO website if your parcel has arrived in SA using this link: sms.postoffice.co.za/TrackingParcels/

Mine took forever but I did eventually get my parcel. A customs detention will add a week to your delivery; they have quite a backlog unfortunately.

On the SAPO tracking, if it says there's nothing in the database, wait another week. My previous order took three weeks just to be scanned at Joburg airport.

If there's nothing after another week, report your package missing on the MyProtein website.

Hope this all helps. Good luck.

Yes! I literally just thought of doing this. Not in their DB (database, not dumbbell) yet, but at least there's some hope now. Thanks!!

these orders can take up to 4 weeks to get to you...just be patient guys it will arrive.

Yep, was just worried knowing SAPO, but I'm more at ease now!

A few people have been yeh. Not impressed by this as I have spoken to them a few times saying that they need to use a courier service.

Yeah agreed, but still, it's quite cool that they ship here. I just wonder why they wouldn't;t be able to use their local distributor Bolus for deliveries... would work so much better.

What some good exercises/uses for a 2.5kg dumbbell and 5kg kettlebell?

Useless for muscle gain on the big muscle groups unless you are under 10yrs old but there are some movements that target those small obscure muscles that you can only use very light weights on anyway?

One arm pull-ups hanging onto the dumbell with the other hand :D

Don't knock light weights, it's your giant sets that are failing if that 2.5 dumbell isn't heavy enough at the end of your workout :p

You mean like 100 rep's per set or something similarl?
What kind of muscles will that develop, won't that just burn Calories extreme aerobic style and leave you looking emaciated?

Here - check this shoulder / back workout - run the rack with dropsets, one of the hardest shoulder workouts I've done. Those 2.5s may come in handy if you've done your sets properly:

Watch from 4m11s:

High reps being bad for building muscle or only good for shredding is an old myth. Many bodybuilders incorporate drop sets and compound sets into their routines for good reason.

What you really should do is switch it up - try drop / compound sets some time and let us know what you think.

To the Myprotein orderers, I just spoke to Myprotein support. Apparently customs rejected my order? I've only just been informed. Black Friday order, nearly a month now. They now say that the parcel will be sent back and I'll be refunded. Surely I'm not the only one who sees this as wrong?

WTF?? What did you order? I've brought 3 packages is, with 2 being detained at customs, and no issues.

The only thing I think might be problematics is a syrup, which might be considered liquids.

Update: I just called SAPO (after 15 mins waiting) I have been told that the parcel got scanned in today and I was given a local tracking number, which now shows 'in transit'. I don't know why Myprotein said its being rejected, but most likely an error on SAPO's side.

TL;DR: panicked, it's coming.

I've said this in this thread somewhere before. Always check SAPO's tracking site first. They sometimes do not sync the Hut Group's tracking number: sms.postoffice.co.za/TrackingParcels/

I did do that, but I could only track once I got the local parcel number, which I think I could only get via calling them.

Send an email to socialmedia@postoffice.co.za with the international tracking number and ask them to give you the converted ZA tracking number. Only works once the item has been entered into SAPO's system at JIMC incoming ect.

Thats what I do usually with my international items that go via SAPO.

Mine has been "In transit" for a while now, but when I checked it today it had been updated with a few entries...
Scanned into customs
Scanned out of customs
Delivered to hub
Delivered to post office

Hopefully it might be delivered this week still. Otherwise I'll phone and pick it up from the post office.

You think they'd reply this time of year?

My shoulders are weak and feeble.

Do compound exercises and go heavy then isolations with supersets or pre-exhaustion that will bring up your delts.
