Mine has been "In transit" for a while now, but when I checked it today it had been updated with a few entries...
Scanned into customs

Delivered to hub
Delivered to post office

Hopefully it might be delivered this week still. Otherwise I'll phone and pick it up from the post office.

You'll have to pick it up at the post office; they won't deliver as they already attempted to.

Getting bored with my routine atm.

I guess it's time to shake things up - literally - see you in the Zumba class bitches.

Also I can't find DAA on Takealot.

Okay, so I tried a few more MyProtein flavours. Here's my review:

Choc Mint - 4/5. The choc mint is very good, the mint is not overpowering and it goes down nicely. Recommended

Chocolate Peanut Butter - 3/5. Could barely taste the peanut butter, definitely prefer the Nutritech peanut butter over this

Sticky Toffee Pudding - 4.5/5. This was a seriously pleasant surprise. Not sweet at all and very tasty. Highly recommended. Will probably do a 5kg order on this when I'm running low on my current ones

Coffee Caramel - 0/5. If I was given a choice between this and a cup of my own warm urine... It would be a tough choice. This was vile and left a nasty aftertaste in my mouth. I wouldn't give this schit to my dog. Seriously horrid. Avoid this flavour.

I don't think I will be ordering any time again soon, I have 10kgs of whey to get through, so this is as far as the reviews go for now.

If anyone else tries some of the other flavours please let us all know what you think.

why not use all that strength you've built up this year to learn a cool bodyweight move, one of my side goals is to learn the handstand

Zumba? Haha. Let us know your thoughts on that.
Heh, when I was studying at Northlink we actually had a few obligatory classes. I reinforced many a stereotypes in that class about white people and dancing lmao.

hahaha damn, coffee caramel doesn't exactly sound like it would make a good whey flavor.

Not a bad idea actually, it would be a different kind of stimulation and if there's one area that I'm lacking, it's in the bedroom.
And by bedroom i mean stabilizer muscles.

Salmon ladder

That sounds like a sex move.

Googled it, damn. No chance in hell I could do that I would die lol.

Edit: oh I didn't see there's a rope attached to the bar, that makes it infinitely safer.

So I can currently do a 42kg dumbell press (flat). I'm wondering what that would convert to as a barbell press. I don't have a gym buddy, so don't want to kill myself lol

It's not at all the same. I can do max of 60kg dumbell per hand, but barbell bench 160kg. No way would I press dumbells of 80kg each.

Dumbell press engages more muscles for balance - barbell has more stability built in with the single bar and two hands to steady it.

That's solid. 60kg dumbells is the most I've seen.

Anyway, I'm sure I could do a 100kg barbell unassisted. Just haven't done it in a while because I've been doing dumbells

What would you guys say are the essential supplements one should take besides normal food and whey protein?

Is it necessary for things like BCAA, ZMA, L- glutamine etc?

This is mostly for lean muscle build and not fat loss. When visiting the supplement stores one never knows if the things the sales reps are recommending is really needed

Definitely creatine, and I still take L-Glutamine. Other than that, a good multi-vitamin and omega fish oil.

I take these daily.

Creatine
Salmon oil
Vitamin D
Magnesium

In days where I train fasted. I take a serving BCAA.

That's it.

Whey used only when I don't hit my macros through whole foods.

Make sure you have Creatine and Beta Alanine constantly in your system. You generally need time to run it in and then keep on regular doses. the rest is optional depending on your training protocol ZMA is not necessary but can help if you train really heavy. BCAA's to protect those gains and glutamine helps with muscle recovery and keeping yourself anti-catabolic including gut health.

Agree you need as many shaker botttles as you can get. They have some really cool Christmas specials, currenly changed from creatine monohydrate to Creatine HCL by Chronical and seems to work great and that 3.2 kg Nutritech Whey is on special. Getting my stack this afternoon #ChristmasGains be coming
