The Bodybuilders Thread: Circuit II

Managed a 1RM DL of 145kg this morning - super chuffed with that.

Previously wasn't able to get 140 up but managed 3 reps of that.

Thanks :D

I never used to enjoy gym but the occasional strength gains make it so worth it :)

considering just switiching to cross fit or something of the likes. been so stagnant for so long now, need motivation and consistency

Seriously dude.....?!

What your stats at? Surely something can keep you going. Currently I'm aiming for sub 10%. No time to be stagnant....

I was benching 120 for 6 on my last set at 74KG now benching 60kg at 77kg, fats gone up, muscle down, strength down

was doing wide arm pull ups for 1 x 4 sets no issues, now struggle to do 10

How the hell do you lose that much strength? Roids? An illness? :wtf: I would cry.

After over 5 months off due to a bad injury I was dreading lifting again, but was relieved that I could still (barely) bench 100kg when I went back. Muscle memory should sort **** out quick.

roids are for faggots.

just lack of motivation, gym partners moved/lost interest. wasnt eating properly etc

At least it can only get better from here hey... Staying motivated is tough. Especially since my wife doesn't care if I'm fat or lean, and my friends are all overweight or super skinny.

No...they are not. Just for people that want to acquire a certain level of physique which is not attainable naturally.

Or one which is, just a lot faster.

To each their own.

Thing with roids is - you still have to work your ass of in the gym and eat well, sure you see results quicker and recover quicker but it's not like you take some gear, go to sleep and wake up huge.

i trained along side a guy juicing, and even if you just eat normally and train at normal levels the difference in growth compared to natty is easily noticeable.

Tehehe.

If I could afford a proper cycle I most likely would be. Or had interest in competing.

But no

lol, i think if guys are competing and juicing that is even worse, kind of defeats the whole point? yes i also get if everyone is doing you aren't really cheating but still they are ghey

I honestly can't think of ANY top fitness competitor which is natural. And I'm not talking of the hulking mass monsters and their pregnant bellies either. Even in physique those guys are juicing.

As for defeating the point...well...it's about shaping your body and building it to the utmost limit. As long as it's done safely, then sure whatever.

What grinds my gears though are these fake natties that preach what is achievable, and young teens hopping on whatever the local bruh is peddling trying to emulate the lifestyle they see.

It's irresponsible and downright dangerous.
