The Bodybuilders Thread: Circuit II

Used for weight loss.
Clen is used as a asthma medication, T3 is a thyroid hormone if I remember correctly.
T3 will fck you up.

Both illegal of course.

Thanks.

I'm taking a break from weightlifting for a few days, maybe until Sunday. Pushed myself hard for the last few days, need to recover.

On a positive note, my bicep curl went from 7.5kg when I started, to 10kg, to 15kg, and now 20kg. 20kg is much, much heavier than 15kg and I can only do 2 reps per set right now. But 15kg is too light now.

I know bicep curls aren't indicative of much, and it doesn't mean much. But psychologically, it matters to me because of the progress I've made. I've always been a big guy in terms of my height and build, but I never really had much muscle. I was a nerd at high school, I was allergic to sport, so I had no muscle to speak of. So, the fact that now a 15kg dumbell is now too light for my bicep curls makes me very, very happy.

It means all of my hard work is starting to pay off. I suppose when you work out, you worry that you aren't doing it right and will never make any progress. So it makes me happy because I can see the progress now.

Took a year hiatus from the gym life.

Now. I need to get back into it

:D sweet you get to experience the fun stuff all over again! Actually feeling your Preworkout..... week long stiffness..... hobbling out of gym...

I dont focus on lower back myself because it has been a problem area in the past. but personally i get work on my lower back from deadlifts and bent over rows(secondary).

Weighted back extensions would be my go to to isolate lower back

Thanks.

I'm also on 20kg, But I have found you don't need to go heavier that this.

I do 3 sets of 15reps with the 20KG dumbbells, then directly afterwards I do another 3 sets with 10kg, But I do them very slowly, with the 10kg dumbbells I get a very good pump and it burns like a mofo :P
Even when doing bench press, I feel my muscles work much harder when I go lighter but slowly.

only a matter of time before Pravin introduces a pre-workout levy......

I'll probably start a new thread, but for the time being.

I'm looking for a few mods for Muscletalk.co.za

It's still small now but I'm getting back onto the gym vibe again now and will promote it a bit, but best case scenario if people start participating in mass then I'll have my hands a bit full.

Excuse the noobness but what does being a mod entail?

Hi all,

I need some real world advise please. I am looking for a realistic eating plan for building lean muscle and one for bulking. There are plenty on the internet but they are all for places like the US etc. and they are pretty much all for seemingly millionaires. I am not considering entering competitions etc. so I am looking for something realistic and affordable. if you can give me an eating for lean and bulking I will decrease or increase portions to achieve my calorie intake target. Anyone who has a proven plan, I will really appreciate it if you can share with me.

For supplements I am using whey, creatine and a pre-workout if that helps.

Thanks fellow athletes.

This is a little bit advanced but the results is astounding once you apply these principles.

Personally I do the following keep in mind I'm quite a big human.

5 meals.

Breakfast 8 eggs whole

Meal 1 chicken breasts and brown noodle

Meal 2 lots of salad stuff with a little chicken

Meal 3 something light ( tamato Sandwich maybe) as you want all the blood to be in your muscles for the workout and not in your stomach trying to break down and digest your food.

Workout

Meal 4 whey protein and a blikkie tuna sometimes

Meal 5 something slow, like I don't know I had a minute steak tonight. (meal five will generally be red meat. A ostrich steak/pattie/mince is also good)

Thanks Thor. I Are you using this diet to build lean muscle? I didn't know about the muscle talk website, but it looks pretty dead?
