Start eating more. No jokes. Supplements are just that, supplements to your normal food intake.
If you want to weight more, eat more. I used to weigh less than you, started eating, even when I felt like I couldnt eat more, I ate more. It does work.

Fark me...

It is actually delicious. It is like a very creamy hot chocolate and obviously mine has a hint of mint flavour to it as well.

I can actually get used to this as my evening drink of choice. Especially in the winter.

Granted I don't think it will work as nicely with Strawberry or Banana. Chocolate, Vanilla, Choc Mint and Cinnamon hell yes.

^ Good to hear Ancalagon

Last night was quite an eye opener for me on how far I have progressed.
Found an old log book I used to scribble notes and log workouts in when I just started out. (I use an app for all of that now).

I noticed how I could only manage to do a max of 3 or 4 bodyweight dips per set when I just started out. And I was really struggling to do them my notes said.

Last night I did my chest workout and I finished my 5 x sets of 12 dips.... But with an added 20kg on a dipping belt.

Same thing with pull ups. Wife had to assist me to finish a set of 6 pull ups when I started. On Saturday I did 5 x 10 pull ups with 10kg added on dipping belt.

Needless to say all other lifts are way up too. I see that I have not progressed as much with lateral raises... I hate that exercise. The burn and fatigue sets in so quickly.
Well done Apoc! My sad story is three weeks ago tried to do "dips" fo4 the first time in 5 odd years. Managed to do a grand total of 1..! Weeks three and I'm up to 4 but I'm still insanely weak although I am very heavy at the moment.

This compared to 5 years ago where I added 70kg to my weight belt and did 3 working sets of 8 dips going deep (not these lockout type reps that people do).

So it's hard knowing where you've been and trying to eek your way back to do some decent weight training. I obviously don't train for good composition or six packs. Main aim has always been strength training. Oh well will keep on troddling along.

What matters is that you started again Z... Well done.

I think you should try and forget about what you could do and just keep on pushing with all you can currently manage. I know it is easier said than done but if you are going to keep on comparing with years ago it will only make you negative.

Think about it this way. In 3 weeks you already made 400% progress, which is awesome.

You also know from previous experience that it took months or years of training before you could do those monster weights. This time round you have the experience, you know where you made mistakes in the past and you know what works and what is mostly broscience.
So it can only progress quicker and easier this time.

Keep your spirit and your head high. To adjust that old saying a bit... Even if you are only doing 4 dips, you are still doing 4 more than the guy on the couch.

Hehehe thanks for the words of encouragement. Yeah I'm mainly focusing on technique at the moment. Getting the nice deeps squats going and pauses while benching. Will lay good groundwork again and then it'll come. As you say I know where I was and it simply motivates me.

Been following the c25k Android app (couch to 5k run in 8 weeks) and currently on week three. Knees and feet are taking a bit of a pounding so had a rest day today to try and recover a bit.

I'm a firm believer in clean technique and full ROM, I built my whole workout around weighted pull ups and dips, I don't like being in the gym longer than and hour waiting for equipment to free up

Yeah if I recall the body starts going catabolic in any case after about a hours training. I find compromising form to do slightly heavier weights just results in injuries. I know why people do it and ultimately it's up to the person involved to decide how they train. It's like the weights under the heels when squatting. It kills me to see it but now a days I just keep my mouth shut(which is not always that easy).

Stumbled across this little bad boy.

Ephedrine, Yohimbine and some white willow bark inside.

Feels good to be back

So finally finished a very long and slow cut.

Now the just as slow and long bulk begins.

This is me this morning at 6am before I hopped in the shower. Final cut weight 81kg. No idea about BF. But it is lower than 15.

(I did not hide my face for any other reason than I look like crap before my morning ritual of shower and shaving.) My face is plastered in another thread on here anyway.

Nice man. That lower ab though...rather unfortunate :).

I need some sauce for the chicken breasts.

Any recommendations?

Side note. I am not allowed any suger or anything that can spike insulin unintentionally.

So currently I have no sauce and chicken taste so k@k already.
