any idea if you would get benefits from doing this with dumbbells ?

Apparently you do but there is an increase load on your front delts, I'm still new to this so still reading up on everything.

He could gladly monitor you, as long as he is not the source of the substances ;)

Haha I was just curious, won't ever take roids, seeing photos of guys with bitchh tits kept me from going down that road:D That was when I was younger anyway, the need to get all buff has disappeared since, now I'm into training and nutrition just keep healthy and in shape

Excuse my ignorance, but how to you get a doctor to monitor you while taking illegal substances? Surely a professional would not agree to this, unless ofcourse you have a prescription and need it for medical/recovery purposes

They will monitor you if you tell them and be honest. What is the illegal substance in question btw?

In my opinion, Gyno isn't the biggest problem, it is losing your liver to this stuff. That is as good as you being dead, never mind having manboobs where you can still get rid of them at least. Which again, is why I suggest having a doctor monitor your bloodwork throughout.

If research stopped you from using, at least I can say you went in the correct direction. The problem why this stuff is illegal in the first place, is people not doing research, getting themselves killed after abusing it.

The same goes for marijuana, it can be perfectly fine to get yourself relaxed every now and then, but because people don't know wtf they doing and just abuse it to the point where it only has negative effects on them, is the reason it gets banned in the first place.

Juice is not illegal, it's prescription. Used mainly to treat hormone deficiencies for example if you lost your testicles due to accident or illness. It's only illegal when you don't have a prescription. A box of Depotrone (basically a six week cycle) would have a normal dosage of about one ampule per month, not two every week.

I don't want to get into specifics, but there are roids that are banned, maybe not all but many are, and not all of them is prescription based, and not all are used to treat hormone deficiencies.

Either way, my point is, whether it is banned or prescription based, it happened because people abused the products and/or got themselves hurt and/or killed.

What do you mean you are struggling in the evenings?

I'm not sure how much (and what) I should be eatin in the evenings.heard that carbs in the evening is bad?and also heard that casein before bedtime is good.like I said,I'm new 2 this so any advice would be much appreciated!

If you prefer to eat big at night and still lose weight, look into something like http://www.leangains.com/ (was mentioned earlier in this thread) make your feeding window between 1pm-9pm, and fit 2-3 big meals in there while still maintaining a calorie deficit.

Edit: As far as the "carbs at night will make you fat" goes, IMO its just broscience, as long as you are eating in a calorie deficit you'll lose weight

I don't know about NOT eating carbs at night, it does sound like broscience after reading http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/carbs-at-night-fat-loss-killer-or-imaginary-boogeyman.html
However like the article mention at the end, more studies required to proof or debunk that one.

The suggested leangains from Wikkels88 is a great idea, I can confirm that, that actually work, not just for me, but other people I have seen that literally lost 10kg fat over short periods of time. Even better, it is more than just a diet, it is a lifestyle that is not too difficult, and should have you craving for food during the allowed 8 hours eating window, meaning you should sleep just fine at night.

Well you are partly correct. Those that are not prescription based (scheduled), have since been replaced by less 'hamful' but equally effective alternatives (think Clen), and some are actually for veterinary use.

Its quite simple- if you want to build real muscle, you have to eat, a lot.

Quite a few really strong men suggest you set an alarm to wake yourself to eat throughout the night.

This is true. But you have to eat correctly. You cannot live off fish and chips all the time :p

OOohh no I love my sleep waaaay too much to go as far as eating throughout the night :P

I tried to keep a whey shake close for the middle of the night especially after dead-lifts or heavy workouts as I my son often wakes me up for his bottle.
I found I couldn't go back to sleep after that...........

And I always though breakfast was the most important meal of the day??? Just quickly scanned through the article as I'm suppose 2 be workin :-) But I think I might try that.when I was in school I never ate breakfast and that never bothered me 2 bad,so think I should give it a good! Thanks guys, much appreciated!!!

Don't skip breakfast, just have it at 1pm everyday:p

Edit: But you'll find a lot of contradicting "studies" regarding intermittent fasting, but as I always say, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and everyone I heard/know(myself included) of praise this way of eating. After a week or so you'll see that you aren't hungry anymore outside your feeding window, and thats the one thing I love about IF...Most people that ever tried eating 6-7 small meals a day in a calorie deficit starting with the first as soon as they wake up, will tell you that you're hungry the whole day:wtf: which makes "dieting" a pain in the ass

I used to do this, set my alarm for 3am and chug down a whey and egg whites shake. It's bull****. I thought it worked at the time, but I can maintain the same strength at gym doing intermittent fasting where I go 16 hours straight every day without food. Some of my best workouts have been in a fasted state with no food for 15 hours before.

Your body is conditioned to adapt to your eating plan or diet. The whole "You must eat protein every few hours to prevent muscle catabolism!" argument is nonsense. To think I believed that for so long, lol!
