I'm heading back to weights tomorrow - first time in about two months :( back is still buggered, so going to work around it.

Hey :). Some of you probably saw the thread earlier.

If I'm allowed to ask this here.

Would you please mind supporting the bodybuilding and fitness site?

I would appreciate the support a lot.

And suggestions is welcome

Anyone have any experience with MuscleWorx? Popped into the local store to get a water bottle, and the salesman says the product is good (duh). I did notice that the Whey was quite low in carbs, so I don't mind trying it, especially if Nutritech is upping its carbs.

Which stores in Cape Town stock it for R599? The one in Newlands hasn't had stock for a few months. Only 2Kg.
I've only ever been to the Canal Walk one. Have not checked pricing or stock since I bought my 3.2kg for R599.00 on 18 Feb 2014 (checked my inContact emails for the date :D). Didn't look like they had stock issues when I was last there a couple of months ago but things can change.

First day back struggled, I couldn't finish sets of 8 @ 60kg... I used to warm up with 80kg :(

Canal Walk - was there two weeks ago.

I could not help but notice there are some weird posts on there. Some people posting are a bit doff. Or does that go for every forum out there? :p

e.g. In one instance I noticed there is a guy called 'Marvin', but his sig is 'Adam Prowse Personal Trainer', then he's asking for advice on how to lose belly fat in the personal trainers thread but then giving fat burning advice in the women's bodybuilding fat loss section :wtf:.

On the internet everyone's an expert.

Hahahaha, thats why if I can get some fitness and other bodybuilders to use the forum It will be able to develop into source of useful knowledge I hope.

I have not followed or read many posts in this thread, so forgive me if this channel has been linked before. I found it while trawling through youtube. The guy often explain good technique, or which exercises you shouldn't do, even though they are often popular in the gym. Good info and presentation I would say. Channel name is Athlean-X

+100 to this. I haven't seen this linked yet, and that specific problem is something that I was wondering about for myself. Even after 3 years in the gym I still didn't know how to fix that one. Sometimes it would go wrong like he showed, most times I could get it right, but without knowing what I did to fix it.

^^ Jeff Cavaliere is the most knowledgable & professional act I have seen on Youtube fitness channels. He seems to really know his stuff! If I was to buy a fitness program his Athlean-X program would quite likely get my money.

Anybody here making use of Dot Drills for their cardio?

How bad is the impact on the knees? Any worse than rope skipping?

Looks like I'm done for awhile - back is getting sore, even with only two days of light weight this week... swimming it is.

That sucks.

Take it easy for a few months. Hopefully you recover well enough to start again.

I've been doing high rep (3 sets of 12) workouts this whole time and lately I've felt that I am not gaining in strength anymore.

Switched to a low rep (5 sets of 4-6) workout now and will monitor my process in the next 4 weeks.

A few workouts in I do feel that I don't fatigue as easily as I did with the high reps (might be a cardio issue) and I finish my workout easier and with a better pump than before.

I'm also following his videos on youtube.
