Yeah, I am getting old but, it turns out a searing pain is what happens when you bench with your elbows splayed out like a ****.
As in you've found the cause? Or do you still suspect something's wrong with your shoulder?

I think I found the answer. Been reading up. I got it in my head that having your elbows sticking out to the sides is good form. Found this:

I would say that about 80% of guys that bench
make this mistake, so listen up cause you
probably are too!
When you’re doing a barbell bench press, you
want to keep your elbows as close to your body
as possible.
There are several reasons that this is important.
First of all, when you flare them out to the sides,
you are putting a lot more strain on your
shoulders.
Frankly, if you’ve ever hurt your shoulder bench
pressing, it is probably because you were doing
this.
And if you haven’t experienced that searing
shoulder pain from a bench press set gone
wrong, you will eventually if you continue doing
this.

Check out Mark Bell's youtube channel. Did some great videos about bench pressing. Especially doing it in a way to protect the shoulders

Wanted to ask earlier if you're flaring your elbows or tucking them in and arching your back

I must add. Shoulder day is the day I dislike the most

Not more than me buddy. I always follow up chest & biceps on day 1 with back and shoulders on day 2 and I fuggen hate it because Of fatigue from the day before. The way I get through it is tell myself that it's legs up next so suck it up buttercup, you got 2 days off coming up soon

Ok, but is there any benefit to kre-alkalyn over normal creatine mono?

Yes. Will post the science journal link to back it up just at the bar quickly :)

Short version:
This form of creatine involves a unique buffering process that enables the creatine to pass through the stomach without breaking down, so it can be delivered directly to the muscles unchanged and in its purest state.

Thanks :)

I seem to have picked up what feels like a microscopic metal splinter ** on the squat rack bar today. Flipping irritating and sore. Do these things go away by themselves?

edit: **in my middle finger, on the tip

www.tedxfremont.com A fateful blizzard on a drive to Tahoe led to a conversation about food and nutrition, which inspired bodybuilder Joshua Knox, a Google employee, to go vegan for a week. One week turned into a 1.5 year lifestyle experiment with bodybuilding and diet.
