I live and swear by m-stack now, only started using it recently, it doesnt give you any buzz what so ever, but my strength gains since i've been on it have been great

Well, its either that or a few changes in my diet.. was stupid, did both changes at the same time

I used jack3d as a base for all the sites - on this site because of the more expensive shipping it ends up the same price as SA after import duties... obviously this might change if you order in bulk.

oi, mr popular, clean your inbox :D

The strongest man in the world

I've decided to post this here as I don't want to start a new thread and I'm sure you won't mind once you've seen the video. This happened last weekend in the US although Benni hails from Iceland. IIRC he's only 28 years old. I've been watching his career since he first competed at the IPF Worlds as a 19 year old and I always knew that he was destined for greatness. Very humble guy too when I met him a few years ago.

This is arguably the biggest feat of strength ever performed:

Benni 1015lb raw deadlift

It'll save you alot, Dischem are robbing us, so are 'rage nutrition' (the site that was spamming us a few months ago, and every other nutrition store in the country
The only way to make it cost effective without splitting the delivery fee with someone is to order a few months supply, only prob is you need to outlay like 3k, im about to order 2x 2KG whey, 2x 2kg cassein, and 3x m-stack
It'll cost R3272.53 with shipping and customs
The same goods would easily cost R4900 at Dischem (and you too, ragenutrition - you get a special mention because I know you guys monitor these forums)

These ****ers should all be investigated for price fixing
ESPECIALLY if you take into account these are regular retail prices, considering they buy it in bulk they no doubt get it for alot less than what we pay buying from online sites in the US

Daylight robbery really

Good day brothers in steel :)

Nice thread you've got going here. Ja with the markup local companies charge.... :erm:

Thats why I started looking at sourcing 100% pure Whey (I've got an import and export company and sourcing is my game).

Good news is I found it....the good stuff

Pure, Raw Whey Protein concentrate, without the flavouring and colouring, so one needs to add your own flavouring, like nesquik, coffee, cinnamon etc. if it tastes too blunt just like that. Personally I got used to the pure taste and I love it

And it is less than a 1/4 of the price of ON for example.

Problem is I get it in a 25kg bag only, and 5 bags minimum at a time, which is "whey" too much for me alone :p

If any of you are interested, I can bag a kg or two and share it with you? I am in Pretoria North, but I guess it won't be a problem to use the Post Office with overnight or counter to counter? You can mail me at erich (@) ondier.com

Anyways, as I will join you regularly in discussion, some info about myself - I have started training again 7 months ago, after a break of around 15 years, where I did all the wrong things and ended up double my size. When I started beginning Oct 2010 I weighed 165kg- I am now at 138 and will be happy when I hit 110kg.

Good info here and nice to meet all of you ;)

HI Nivek

Thanks for this- yes I actually stumbled upon them while searching for raw whey, and I ordered a 2.5kg bag from them while waiting for mine to arrive, and mine still works out cheaper, but I sit with the extra kgs :)

Whey protein is expensive yes but the good stuff like ON whey is worth the money. Cheaper whey contains very little if any whey isolate. Isolate costs much more but the results speak for themselves.

Whey Protein is 80.8%, which means every 100g of powder contains 80.8% protein. Isolate is 90% and is absorbed better. But in my opinion not worth the extra bucks- depending on how serious you are. If you add something like Leucine to your normal whey concentrate your absorption will be much better- and still much cheaper than Isolate.

Anyway, I have decided to pursue clean raw supplements- so I will check if I can import Isolate and mix that together with Leucine to the concentrate, with the advice / help of a bio- geneticist in optimum ratios. Will keep you posted :)

I've read articles where the difference isn't worth the money, concentrate and isolate....

Anyone know of a cheap source of decent Casein? Just using it in the evenings before bed - but 2kg is already over R500 from ON....
