Forget Creatine Nitrate and all the gobbledigook marketing junk that tries to get you to buy it. Stick to monohydrate. It's cheaper, and it's probably the most researched supplement out there. Mix it up with some grape juice and you're golden.

You can load (15 - 20mg p/day) but it's not necessary. After 1 week, anything more than 5g (heaped teaspoon) per day is a waste.

Thanks :) I went out and got Creatine Transport from USN, was around R120 for 650g. It is already mixed with some sort of berry juice. Hoping it is an OK product for a start. I am taking this along with protein shake, eating well and taking lots of water so looking forward to the intense workouts ahead. My muscle recovery and endurance have been rather poor so hoping to see some improvement.

I personally buy most of my raw products from BSSA.

No fluff added to any products - just pure raw supplements. They have some GREAT prices on BCAA's, Casein, Creatine etc.

Waiting on my Dextrose and Gaba order from em now. They try and ship same day/ next day once payment clears. Really on the ball.

Next time avoid the Creatine Transport super analbolic cheese griller whatever, and just get the plain creatine monohydrate. But good luck and I hope you respond well. :)

Springbok pharmacy have ON 100% whey on promo this month,
really good price!

Is ON really worth the premium price?

This. I have read broscience forumites recommending Creapure Creatine over Monohydrate and ON are one of the only 2 guys who keep Creapure around my area.

Is ON really worth the extra bucks?

Hell bloody no.

While I do admit there is a difference in the quality of the whey that can be used in a product, all top brands use a combination of Whey isolate, hydrolized whey and concentrate in their products. Just take a look at the content of ON and any other top brand. Exactly the same.

Not worth it imho. Though you will get the guys that will swear by it etc.

And on the Creapure topic: All it is a new manufacturing method that makes it a little more soluble in fluid...that's it. Looking at the content it's still just monohydrate.

Mmm... Ok

How does SSN, Nutritec compare to ON (whey specifically) for quality?

Exactly the damn same. And considering that both are local companies they are awesome. Whey is also imported and the same whey is also used by most brands the world over!

Easy test for whey quality is the solubility in water. If your whey does not dissolve fully...then perhaps a slightly lower quality product that has not been filtered as much. However this DOES NOT INFLUENCE THE PROTEIN CONTENT.

Go with either SSN or Nutritech. Be happy and enjoy saving a lot of money.

Okay so, I have a question regarding whey this time:

I'm currently using Evox Synergy cookies and cream and have been for years. Amid some conversation someone recommended I try buying the pure unflavoured whey (from Pro 10 I think) and mixing it with Nesquik/Milo. Apparently saves a lot of money.

Has anyone tried this? Is it worth it?

Thanks for the info!

Can you (or anybody else) recommend a trusted local online seller that sells Nutritech at a good price?
