Starting using Dischem's Biogen GABA this weekend (R159 for 120 capsules, the one dosage option is 2 per night before bed).

It might be making a difference, too soon to say... but I still am doing all the wrong things before bed, like watching series, playing games and eating a midnight snack.

When else should these things be done:wtf::D

I prefer GABA in powder form, I find the pills a bit slow. Also sleep like the dead, but struggle waking up, I usually wake easily, but on this stuff, I hit snooze for 30min. Takes a very strong cup of coffee before I feel normal.

Anyone else get blurry vision about an hr after an intense workout, I got that again last night where if you watch TV you can't see the image very well and a slight headache, i had to squint to even see the supper on my plate.

This usually appears after a deadlift or heavy sandbag session session.
I assume its the up and down motion and incorrect breathing and maybe not eating enough before a heavy session.

I used to get intense headaches way back when I was squating 180+, read up on it, I believe its called an exertion headache.

I was in bed by 8pm, can sort of still feel it this morning and i have a tough bench routine coming up after 5pm so thinking of maybe resting today, will check after lunch.
I reckon i should also get carbs in every lunch time before a heavy session, yesterday all I had was chicken and veg for lunch.

Today mince, veg and rice.

Tight muscles in the neck and upper traps = shooting pain into head
Above, my traps and neck hurt like hell, think it was the sandbag I tried to clean and press after deadlifts.

I'm training completely carb free for the last 3 weeks now. Only take dex with pwo.

Been having no problems with strength and training. Numbers going up across the board and shedding body fat MUCH more easily while consuming high protein and high fat foods. My body likes this. Already down 10kg since start of the year - bodyfat on 13% atm and I started at 24%.

I also just have the regular clean chicken breast and broccoli for lunch.

Impressive progress for the short time frame!!

Thank you!

I train 2 or 3 days on, then 1 day break. My diet is the biggest contributor to my progress. I eat as clean as possible with near obsessive calorie control. Also incorporate HIIT and steady state cardio post weight training.

And the results are awesome. Took monthly pics so hoping to have a great pic set by June at 6 months. Currently sitting on 94kg/93kg fluid intake dependent, but I see now that I should actually be in the 80's. So the next push is to get down to around 87kg. Just want to get to 10% bf...don't want to be super ripped, just very lean.

I checked WebMD for you.

You have Ebola and brain cancer.

Are you following a specific diet? I'm starting a keto based diet on Monday for two months, dreading it - last time I felt *** for the first two weeks (headaches). I also find the commitment incredibly difficult.

Need to drop about 14% body fat as well.

Plan on doing weight training in the mornings, and light cardio in the evenings (getting my dog up to 5km jog, and light swimming - 500m to 800m

Not particularly. I had some problems with insomnia when I cut all my carbs and went into ketosis properly for about 3 days - that was hell - but I never had the brain fog some people get.

As for fats - I've rediscovered PROPER butter after not eating it for 15 years. Boy I missed out. I eat eggs (yolk inc) everyday, fry my chicken for breakfast in butter and or coconut oil, make coconut milk to drink and I drink a lot of flax oil as well for extra fat.

Currently I think my calorie split is about 960 odd from protein a day and 1000 odd from fats...then maybe 300 from carbs (most comes from the dex I take in my pwo)

So my macro split is NOT a keto split - my protein is too high and my fats too low - but this works for me. I enjoy each meal, don't get cravings and the results speak for themselves. And if I DO crave something I make my own peanut butter protein cups ala Reese's :D Lotsa protein and fats in that and it tastes delicious!

I should follow your example and add in swimming...it's amazing for muscle relaxing and cardio.

Going for the overkill approach... again :p ISTR you doing something pretty similar last year, no?
Cardio will not make nearly the difference cleaning up your eating will. Add in cardio once you're keto-adapted (past feeling ****ty). You should also reconsider your timeframe. Two months ain't enough to drop 14%, that's a serious drop.
