Oh I totally forgot about feedback regarding the headaches.

I did get myself a BP Monitor last week after the headaches would not stop. Got the same as @Arietans from Clicks. Thanks.

BP is very inconsistent and I have a doctor's appointment tonight to check it out.

I only test as I get home (before workout), before I go to sleep and after my morning shower.

At night the Systolic readings are always rather high. Around 130-140 and sometimes as high as 155. Diastolic is always low. Averages around 60 and the highest it ever got was 78.

Morning readings are pretty much perfect. 122/75, 120/70, 119/78.

I haven't done any weight work this week because I have a slight niggle with my elbow and decided to give it a rest while also going on a mini cut week. So I have only been sticking to cardio for the past 6 days. No headaches while doing cardio but I do feel(hear?) my heartbeat pounding away in my head when I go to bed at night.

Hopefully doc can diagnose it easily tonight. My medical aid savings account won't make it through the year if I need another bunch of bloodwork, scans and tests to be done so early in the year.

@Apoc, well best you know sooner rather than later and maybe take it easy till you know what's cutting. Hope they sort you out soon dude!

So no luck with dodging the bloodwork.

Doctor did a real thorough examination last night and apart from a slightly high blood pressure could not find anything else wrong and could not explain the headaches.

Bloodwork will only be done on Saturday morning because it has to be while I'm in a fasted state.

Meanwhile he has given me a very low dosage of an ACE inhibitor to help with the blood pressure.

Now it is the waiting game.

Always wearing that damn cap.

Interesting question.

Who of you wear caps to gym. If you do, why?

I will wear a baseball cap, when my hair is too long to style with gel.I have a beard so all you see is black cap and black/orange/red beard because my head is always down for most exercises.
I also pull weird faces when i strain so that helps too.In winter i wear a beanie for the same reason.

If one can only choose 1 what would you take

Bcaa's or Whey protein ?

I second that also whey for me...... I'm to poor to afford both each month

But research shows bcaa's is much more important....

Hence why I am at a crossroad

BCAA's if you do fasted training. If you are having pre and post-workout meals, then not necessary.
