Did not read the posts but just a quick question.

I want to lose about 5 kgs... I love my red wine a bit too much lately. Which product is the better one to use for weight loss: Gaspari Mitotropin or Lipo 6 ? I want to order it from Bodysynergy, is anyone familiar with them?

Diet and a proper training program, if neither of those are an option, then liposuction, should last a few months :D

Hi guys! I currently work out about 4-5 times a week, quite intense. Is a combination of 100% ISO Whey, Creatine Monohydrate & SSN N.O. Creapump a good combination to use for muscle building? I'm not interested in anabolic stuff or stuff with heavy carb loading. So keeping that in mind, would you say that the above combination of supplements are good?
Thanks!
Regards

Not bad since you can easily control your carbs. What are you trying to achieve first of all? If it's bulk, then you need to put on some fat while doing it, it's not really possible to properly bulk without eating more Kj than you need in a day hence the extra padding. If it's maintain then don't overdo the eating but eat enough for your recovery. I like my protein suppliment to be 75% or more protein since carbs are easy to come by in everyday food. Remember to rest around one week in 4 if you are training intensely 4-5 times a week - i.e. do some alternate stuff, a bit of cardio to keep the heart pumping, but nothing too heavy - your body will thank you.

So depending on your goal, make sure you get enough carbs to get the job done and watch for fatigue.

This guy makes alot of sense:

I believe liposuction last waaaaay more than a few months ;)

Not if the first thing you do when you get out of hospital is eat a box full of doughnuts and drink a case of wine :)

If you not interested in fixing the root cause of the problem, and instead going straight to fat burners then you're just burning money and wasting your own time

When you get out of hospital, you can't sit or lie down properly, and the fat removed comes from areas not affected by eating habits. ;) So if you want to go lipo because you're a gluttonous pig, you're wasting your money.

The same goes for diet pills/fat burners :D

Go search for tara reid. go look at what happened to her stomach. That is life, dieting would have been hard but she would have looked far better than someone hacking up her stomach and tits.

If you want to lose weight fast, animal cuts plus fruit, nuts and instant oats FTW :D. Since i started that i dropped from 73 kg's to 66 :D. Best farkin diet ever!!!!!! O yes and of course 2 hours cardio a day :D.

Killa, you're spot on with oats and nuts... I would go further to say Bokomo oats prepped in the microwave for 3.5 mins. Bokomo is better than Jungle because of the lower sodium content afaik.

Anyone knows if sweetener/colourant/flavour free protein is available in SA? Have digestive problems with sucralose and will prefer not to take any unneeded chemical additives.

Suppliments SA has a 100% whey suppliment - I could be mistaken but I think they add a little fructose... It's over 80% protein and not bad although I'm not sure if it has vanilla flavour. You could also try 'the health shop' - they have a pure whey suppliment which is pretty much natural. Let us know if you come right and what you got, I'd be interested to hear.

Generally not unless they specialize in something.

For instance at 'Zone Fitness' http://www.zonefitness.co.za/ (A small gym franchise) you can get a 24 month contract for R90 or so a month. This should be a lot cheaper than a big gym franchise.

J

And are they better? With less people and stuff? If so anyone know of any in the kloof or hillcrest area?

I love oats and have it for breakfast most days. I have also noticed that I lost weight since I began eating it, but it is probably more of a combination of eating habits anbd exercise that did it for me. I gym about 3 times a week and run on the days that I do not gym.

Why DOES oats lead to weight loss? Is it simply because it is a low GI food ?

Mostly yes, partly also because it's (mostly) not processed.
