Bought Evox Creatine Pure from Dischem, expensive stuff!
Been taking since Saturday, Sunday was rest, so will start gymming today again.


Has anyone experienced Insomnia whilst taking Creatine?
I have restless legs on most nights and usually fall asleep 2 hr's after hitting the pillow, but since taking creatine I cant sleep at all, last night I must of got 1hr sleep MAX.

Haven't noticed any trouble sleeping my side... but I generally sleep very little.

Not sure if you saw my post in the other forum but I do KT Tape pre-cut now as well, R20 per meter, minimum qty 1 meter :)

Forgot to test it last night.... so will hopefully see if it helps my arm on Wednesday.

It will also stay on longer if you put some Friars balsam on the application area. Jut apply with a bit of cotton to the skin where you want to lay down your KT Tape. It is very cheap- R5 or so at any pharmacy
 
Been reading through MuscleMag International the past two weeks.
One thing I noticed was how much better the Mag is compared to Mens Health, suppose it's not meant for weekend warriors but dedicated body builders.

Anyway:
From going through the Mag I noticed most only exercise a body part once a week like Chest on Mondays, Quads and calves on Tuesdays, Shoulders on Wednesday's, Arms on Thursday's etc.
2 days rest.
I changed my routine around to one similar to above and I'm seeing gains in the amount of weight I'm able to push out.

Do you guys follow a similar routine?

Yes I'm doing the same- the guys believe you grow in your bed and in the kitchen and not in the gym, so good rest for each body part is essential, I believe at least 4 - 5 days rest before I will touch the same muscle group again- but for me it is mostly 7 days
 
I think sleep is one of my biggest downfalls - I just don't have enough time for it.

5-6 max if lucky
 
Oh ffs... missed the 1000lbs club by 50lbs today :(
(not doing maxes, just straight sets, if I went for maxes I'd probably easily break it)

But its my last week of heavy lifting... then I'm going to take it easy for a month...

I also tried the KT Tape - put it on last night, it helped today, my arm isn't sore... but the tape came off in deadlifts, think there was to much stretch, arm hair and sweat... going to shave my arm for Friday.

Having issues on the Clean and Jerk with my right hand wrist, especially if I go heavier than I'm used to.
I tried wrapping it up tightly which helps a little, also wrap my knees, I can hear them creak under the pressure :(
Nothing worse than a wrist or shoulder injury.......slowing me down.
I start the clean and jerk from the floor, maybe I should raise the weight off the floor slightly?

I had the same problem but I force myself to sleep 8 hours now. 19h40 I start getting ready for bed- 20h I'm gone. Wake up at 4h to take my supps and shake to have it settled for at least an hour before I hit the gym at 5h00. My tv programs suffers a bit from my new sleeping habits

And get yourself some Friar's Balsam from any chemist and apply that on the skin before you lay the tape down. Dirt cheap but the tape will stay for at least 5 - 6 days.

Yeh - I try, but its difficult, only get home around 7...and leave at 5am...

Yeh, got some - it seems to help... I recon my second application will go better, had to do last night by myself.
 
Is biogen Nitro plex that bad? Just want something to help me get lean muscle while losing weight.
 
I need advice from the boys again.

I have weak Biceps. Now I do 3 sets of 12 Dips everyday plus the normal routine.

I struggle my ass off. But my triceps does not burn like the rest of my muscles when I have done a hard workout.

Should I do more or stick to this for now?

Take large barbell plate, raise it behind your neck and use your triceps to bring it up and then down, burns like hell, do as many as you can until failure, then do 2 more after that!
Bicep curls for biceps, stick to basics I guess.
Think 3 sets is a little low.......my 5c

Agreed brother. At least 5 sets and 3-4 different exercises for every muscle group

Sit on an exercise ball to make it harder.
