It is never acceptable practice to drop your weights...and especially on a deadlift where the negative portion of the rep is so important and you can keep growing. Weight getting that heavy...strap up.

2. Are all chickens injected with water before being sold?
No, not entirely true!
Our fresh chicken, never frozen, is 100% natural. In fact, excess moisture is removed from fresh chicken through an air chilling process before being packed. However, we do flavour enhance IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) portions with a water based brine, to improve meat tenderness and succulence by means of a scientifically applied injection method.
It is ONLY acceptable to drop heavy weights when done barbell pressing. Slowly lowering that after you maxxed out can cause painful injury. Pricks who throw the weights off the legpress machine...kill yourselves.
You say barbell press - bench, military press overhead...?
Or did you mean dumbell bench press? Which I can understand![]()
If you read my post - I assume you did and understood it - I said specifically chicken imported from Brazil. Which is backed up by the news reports and articles from last year.
So YOU should learn to read a post and not make assumptions. Mmmkay?
I see. How dangerous is this really?

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind. Will also drop my deadlifts down to 45kg or 50kg to ensure my form is correct as I was struggling and form was suffering possibly.ryan411, the first few weeks on Stronglifts will be super easy. Use this time to make sure you learn the small technicalities of the lifts to do them 100% correct, ie with good form. When you get close to your initial maxes, you will be happy you did, because when the lifts get heavy, it is when the small technicalities are important, to a) prevent injury b) make it easier to still progress
I am talking from experience, because initially I just went through the motions, and when I hit my first maxes, progress very quickly stalled, and I had to spend time on the technicalities instead of working on going heavier. Hell I am still working on technicalities, these lifts are damned difficult when you start going heavy and need to tweak every bit to perfection to go heavier.
Yeah, but you have to be dedicated - so many people don't see that. They can't loose what they put on. Also metabolism and genetics decide on how easy it is to cut to a great degree. I personally don't believe it's healthy to keep blowing up and cutting, but not everyone would agree. There's that hidden fat - if you're prone to packing it around your internal organs as opposed to just subcutaneously... not healthy. All of that is less of an issue if you're 25 or younger.
I'm well aware that you get fat around your organs. The relationship between eating at a caloric surplus and muscle gain is simply too great for me to pass up. And 21 years old![]()
Hectic. According to that, I am an Experienced Beginner. Probably not far off.I was looking for a "Do you even lift" meme - and discovered this, rather interesting take:
