In the past when we had some changes in the business(quite hectic stuff, complete process redesign of how we do everything) we had to sit through some change training. I found it kind of silly(the cheese metaphor) and rather obviously. But well if you are struggling to deal with the changes that's about to happen I geuss I can recommend this:So unutterably clueless as to how much of a complete clusterfsck this whole situation is for businesses...

Meh change is change. Everything changes. I understand you are rather emotional and I'm here for you if you want to talk about your feelings.Yes because a complete process redesign within a single business is akin to this clusterfsck.... (to borrow from Pitbull) /facepalm

Yes I do. Especially when all you have is this silly little one liners.*pats on the head* you do like parading your cluelessness around. don't you?

Please tell me about your fears. How exactly will the world end?

The problems and potential costs involved for something as "simple" as missing nuts and bolts is massive. Reorganising one sub contractor for one job in a sequence of thousands has huge implications and can easily make a company go bust.
You need to learn how to write essays that nobody reads. They are so much cooler. Go to the Trump thread for lessonsBut I love my one liners... they're witty and clever...
The world will end with a whimper... thats a given, because everyone will just be like 'meh, its just change'
I've never claimed there won't be problems obviously there will. Especially in the first few months until everyone figures out how to import and export stuff to the EU again.Having run a GBP100m+ EPC project in England last year/year before for a European company with basically every component imported from their suppliers all over Europe, I just cannot start to think of the hundreds of problems the leaving without a deal scenario presents. It is mind boggling.

Some sort of trade agreement would have been nice. The EU didn't want to negotiate in good faith and offered the UK a shît deal.
Now the situation is what it is. Phone up your local politician and have your suppliers do the same. And get them to actually do their job and create a win-win situation.
Geez businesses are always accused of lobbying politicians. Except I geuss when it actually matters, then everyone just wants to moan.
Who's fault is it that the EU doesn't want to offer a reasonable trade deal?
How is the lack of a deal not the EUs fault?Oh so now this is the EU's fault?

Yes. And you were gullible enough to believe it.Who knows. We were told the EU we’re going to be falling over themselves to offer a good deal. Have we been lied to?![]()
