Yes. And you were gullible enough to believe it.

Maybe if you listened to me from the start I could have told you how this will play out.

Wait. You are defending Leave lies, yet I was gullible enough to believe it?

How does that work?

How is the lack of a deal not the EUs fault?
And May gets some blame for being incompetent.

Ummm because the UK voted for this whole thing, not the EU...

The blame for anything that happens rests squarely with the UK, and ultimately with the politicians

Lol. There was no reason to have a bad divorce. The EU was butthurt like you and became spiteful and didn't want to negotiate.

Ahhh so cute... so the EU must bend over backwards to accomodate the UK then?

Nope,

They are now in a deficit of about 7b Euros that they need to make up. UK's divorce payment should plug that hole for about 5 years. After that the EU will have to find another way to plug the deficit. Italy is also on the brink of wanting to leave the UK. The German people given an opportunity will also leave. EU is singlehandedly killing itself.

The people actually want business to continue. So yes the politicians should have bended over backwards to accommodate what the people of the EU and the UK want. What would have been in the best interests of everyone.

That does appear to be what the leave side expected. The UK was supposedly holding all the cards and the EU would do whatever they wanted.

Oh so now this is what the people of the EU wanted as well? I wasn't aware they had voted for Brexit too.

Yeah, it just baffles me that any sane person thought that would be the case.

Okay, I'm out. Now you're just being stupid.

Meh the EU changed. Change is change. Everything changes. I understand you are rather emotional and I'm here for you if you want to talk about your feelings.

The EU didn't want to negotiate in good faith and offered the UK a shît deal.
You're being disingenuous - The EU didn't want brexit in the first place and when it became clear that brexit was happening anyway then their primary objective becomes looking after the interests of the EU and it's members. If that means a **** deal for the UK then that's unfortunate but the responsibility of the EU is negotiate the best possible deal for the EU. They don't owe the UK anything and it would be stupid of them to give the UK a UK-centric deal at the expense of their own members. The idea that the EU should have been negotiating to get the best outcome for the UK is absurd.

It's like telling your wife you want a divorce. Then telling her you won't negotiate unless she agrees to immediately hand over the kids to you. Then telling her she is being unreasonable for not agreeing to your demands. And she's like, you wanted the divorce not me.

Things are looking a little tenuous for Boris.

JO SWINSON: HARMAN, CLARKE BEST FOR EMERGENCY UK GOVERNMENT

Liberal Democrat leader Jo Swinson told BBC radio on Friday that former Labour deputy leader Harriet Harman and ruling Conservative party veteran Ken Clarke had both told her they would be prepared to assume that role.

“They put public duty first and they don’t want to see a no-deal Brexit,” Swinson said.

“If the House of Commons asks them to lead an emergency government to get our country out of this Brexit mess and to stop us driving off that cliff to a no deal, then yes they are prepared to do that.”

A good agreement would have been like remaining friends and sharing custody of the kids.

The EU came to an agreement like that but nobody liked it. Now Boris wants a new agreement but doesn't want to tell the EU what he wants.

It's like, the wife says well about we agree to live together until we've sorted things out and separated properly. Husband is like, no that doesn't work, I won't negotiate at all if that's what you want. Wife is like fine, just come up with an alternative. Husband sits there with mond vol tande and blames the wife.
