with the UK free to determine who they do business with and who they allow in their country the ball is now thoroughly in their own government's courtWhat do you expect to see? What benefits will the average person in the street have?
if they play the hand correctly, the average person in the street will have access to jobs they didn't have before, average pay should increase given there's less competition in the labour force, prices in the supermarkets should be dropping for products that are sourced from better suppliers etc etc etc ... and it will take time to see those benefits coming through even if they played the hand correctly
it all depends on how it is played, one thing that has already changed: the average man in the street no longer needs to lay any blame on the EU for any of the UK's woes, that blame now falls squarely on the UK government for the first time in over 40 years
