.Britain should exit hard and fast even if it's a crappy deal, as the EUrocraps now threaten. After quick new trade deals with USA, Canada, Australia, half the Commonwealth, and Japan they'll be in a better position than now. Call the EUrobluff - within two years of Brexit the European bluster will evaporate and they'll beg the UK to join the free trade zone.
Bloody snowflake
The moment the little diva, Nick Boles, throws his tantrum. He's of course not going to call a by election (the honourable thing to do) and would stay eating at the trough. Remember his "compromise" includes staying in the customs union and single market...
So we will see the end of May before the end of April?
actually they pretty much all agree that they do not want brexit at all, the vast majority at leastUK Parliament has never agreed on anything, ever. Nobody noticed until now.
Did they not agree to invoke article 50?UK Parliament has never agreed on anything, ever. Nobody noticed until now.
The saddest thing of all, is it's going to take a generation or two for the UK to recover and start uniting again, assuming the Union doesn't come apart anyway.
It was just too split - you can see it on all the online news comment sections. This is a country severely torn apart in two directions - for and against Brexit. They are going to be blaming each other for years, irrespective of the final outcome. Every little thing will be blamed on the decision, depending on which side you are on.
It was May's fault as Brexit was too soft, it was ERG's fault as Brexit was too hard, it was the remainers fault, it was the leavers fault, you got what you voted for etc etc.
I laugh when May say's it's time to unite the country again. That's not going to happen for a long long time.
Letwin, the would-be Brexit savior, has thrown in the towel, he reportedly said he's now "90% sure we'll drop out with No Deal."
because the EU fears hard brexit as much as the UK, more maybe, the UK is just too ****ing stupid to use that fact as leverageI dunno why the EU plays with them.. I mean yes they’d prefer a deal but the way things going it seems best to tell them to bugger off.
