Annoying.
@LCBXX comes online & posts elsewhere but doesn't respond to a request to remove obvious scammer info.

Not sure what else to do.
*shrugs
Edit: Maybe they've got me on ignore?
Could someone else try ping them?
@biometrics etc.

Shops I would recommenced or have personally bought from:
  • https://shadowjuice.co.za Their products are a little on the light side for me. Many others report little to no effect. They have many domains: medicalmj.co.za, cannabisvape.co.za. Often have discount-specials running.
  • http://eciggies.co.za Sellers of dry-herb vaporizers, amonghs other vaping devices and accessories.
  • https://vapestore.co.za Sellers of dry-herb vaporizers, amonghs other vaping devices and accessories.
  • http://www.puff.co.za Sellers of accessories to enjoy cannabis (e.g. bongs, pipes, etc), also selling on Bidorbuy.
  • https://420monkeys.com Excellent shop for getting your hands on some quality cannabis if you do not have access to someone local for supply.
  • Africa Smoke Head Shop. I follow them on Facebook. They offer medial marijuana products (officially).
  • https://zolr.co.za A type of indexing website that lists suppliers of, mostly, medical marijuana oils.
  • China World Shopping Centre - Hillfox. There is a shop left on the 1st isle from the main entrance (I'll get the store number) which stock a huge selection of smoking accessories: Grinders, pipes, filters, bongs, blunt-kits, etc. at very competitive prices.
  • https://www.medicalcannabisdispensary.co.za Suppliers of medical-use cannabis products (Oils, creams, etc). They also offer recommendations and dosage details, depending on the condition that needs management.
  • https://thebobbygreenhashfoundation.com Suppliers of various cabbabis-based products (Oils, creams, etc). Very well known for their Canna-Cookies which need to be consumed with caution until your tolerance-levels are established.

Eh...

@LCBXX Please edit your post.
Done. Apologies, I hardly visit this thread anymore after it got saturated with low-posters talking nonsense.

Have things improved?

I'd say we have useful conversations. I certainly discovered Honeyvape due to this thread and that's changed my mind hugely about how to consume cannabis. I've invested in a rosin machine and all the bits and pieces to make my own vape. :D

Can you make dab/shatter with that machine?

Thoughts on CBD and cannabis as a wellness supplement?

At worst, you get high.
At best, you see / feel some health improvements in the near future.
(At the very best, all of the above.)

Win-win :cool::thumbsup:

There will always be haters. I take is that if such a vast number of people are saying CBD has helped them in some way, there has to be some truth behind it. I'm sure there's even scientific evidence.

I'm currently vaping CBD, but I don't have any physical ailments so it's difficult to tell.
It's supposed to help with anxiety too, but my anxiety comes and goes so I can't say if it has any effect.

I think the problem is that a lot of CBD products are isolate based - i.e. they isolate and extract ONLY the CBD and add that to products. This type of product has very limited benefits as cannabis (with or without THC) works because of a combination of cannabinoids, not just because of one isolated ingredient (such as CBD/THC).

If you intend to use CBD products, look for ones that claim to be "full spectrum", although these claims are often bullshit. There might be a small fraction of uses for isolate products, but currently they are sold as such due to the fact that CBD with zero (or close to zero) THC is legal to sell - but it is quite tricky to get the full spectrum extracted with no THC.

The most beneficial products contain all cannabinoids from a particular strain, and the benefits will vary based on which strain you use.

If getting "high" is a problem (for whatever reason), then you can always use a strain that has a higher CBD to THC ratio (such as ACDC, which is a 20:1 CBD:THC strain). This will give you the most "wellness" benefits, without any form of impairment.

As for wellness, cannabis is highly beneficial for various ailments, and again it will depend on the strain as to how effective it will be to treat whatever you need treated. As a rough reference, you can check out Leafly.com to find information on locally available strains and find ones that serve your intended purpose.

the "high" is probably one of the best stress relievers out there, and considering the state of the world, that alone makes it a worthwhile pursuit :)

Remember to tell those people that Cannabis was used by the Egyptian queens to ease period pain. Not to mention the Chinese used it as medicine 10 000 years ago. .

I grew a plant which has is 20:1 and theres absolutely no high feeling. I grew it for my wife and she loves the smoke. I have 2 more plants which needs to flower then I will make her some gummy bears.

She can feel a difference immediately, whether it he from anxiety, stress etc etc.

That is awesome!

I personally think (hope) there's a huge medicinal future for high CBD strains - rather than the current crop of zero THC varieties being sold everywhere, with little benefit to anyone. Many medicines contain small amounts of intoxicating substances anyways (such as cough medicine with alcohol) so this variety should be acceptable.
