The Cannabis Thread

Don't know, but he's preaching to the wrong crowd. I'd say **** off but he seems sincere(ish).

Let me be clear, before my position is distorted by emotions:
- Cannabis should be legal
- The harms of cannabis being illegal are exponentially worse than any harms that may arise from the consumption of cannabis
- Cannabis, in South Africa, is unfortunately still illegal
- People using these online dispensaries are putting themselves at significant risk of being arrested
- Therefore, people using these dispensaries should be very careful

WE DON'T ****ING CARE.

Got it?

Blah blah blah. Let me add something useful to your posts for those on the front lines who will continue to break the law until it's changed:

1. Sign up at https://fieldsofgreenforall.org.za/join-the-queue/
2. Read the book
3. Save the helpline number on your phone

I thought you didn't care?

By the way, have done all you recommended, way before this day.

I truly hope you never see the inside of a holding cell or the cells beneath the Court.
Hate me as much as you want, but that childish and churlish response won't change the facts of what I say.

Seriously, why are you so angry and/or butthurt?
What have I done to offend you?
What points of mine do you disagree with?

Who's been arrested for buying online that warrants such a statement? I haven't heard of a single case - not in the news or from the hundreds of people on this forum in this thread who've (frequently) used such online services.

It is a bit ridiculous. My bank statement has EFT's going to Bobby Greenhash for over 4 years... Paper trail deluxe...

Fair point. I am not aware of any specific incidents but you must acknowledge to sell an illegal product online in this way is attracting some degree of risk. The SAPS love to make examples. Perhaps there hasn't been a worthy enough example yet? The dispensaries are playing a cat-and-mouse, push-down / pop-up game, by their own admission.

Also, not every arrest makes it into the papers.

A patient was arrested three months ago leaving the premises of a person selling edibles at the Milnerton Business Park, about 700m down the road. Previous case meant he didn't get bail and is still detained.

Another patient received a knock on the door and a visit from a detective after purchasing 5 seeds from one of the local seed banks. Seeds never arrived. But a policeman did.

Even if there haven't been any arrests - yet - re: online sales, it would be foolish to assume the SAPS don't know about them. And you don't want to be that first example they make.

The same OPSEC used in buying from Darknet Markets should be used: PGP, 2FA, cryptocurrency payments. From what I can see, none of that is used.

Mate, I wouldn't admit that on a public forum.

Your trial, not mine.

That would be a pretty incriminating post should you be that example.

I thought you didn't care?

I don't care for your scare-mongering. We are all very aware of the law, the judgement, the arrests going on, and the risks we take. It's all documented in 290 pages.

By the way, have done all you recommended, way before this day.

Good.

I truly hope you never see the inside of a holding cell or the cells beneath the Court.

I have.

Hate me as much as you want, but that childish and churlish response won't change the facts of what I say.

Had a bad day... Sorry if I was rude. I'll go light up just now!

What have I done to offend you?
What points of mine do you disagree with?

You offended *us* by coming here preaching off a soapbox without reading the preceding 290 pages. Anyway... glad to see an addiction psychiatrist with your views...

I'm not worried. The authorities have raided Bobby so many times I'm sure they have the purchase history of all his clients already. His business has been an open book to the authorities for a long time, and I think he made the right decision by playing out in the light.

Both you and him should learn to use PGP.

Missed the point again. He registered a Pty Ltd for a reason. Registered for VAT for a reason. Accepts payment direct to his bank account for a reason.

What's his VAT number?
And the CIPC link to his Pty Ltd?

.....

EDIT: This isn't a solicitation for my services. I can't charge you for advice. And I never would. I have offered my advice on this forum with regards to depression, psilocybin, ketamine, LSD and cannabis. Because I am an expert in this area - personally and professionally. ..

...I am not aware of any specific incidents....

So are you an expert or not?

Isn't it somewhat futile when at the end we're all receiving items to our real address with our real names? All PGP is gonna do it obscure the paper trail somewhat.
