Yeah I honestly just wanted to dip my toes in with the cheapest option and Sour pez was the only one of the 0.4g ones left. Didn't mind the flavour and was happy with the high, but I'll likely go for Alien Blue or Laughing Gas next time. Will leave this for the weekends.
I love Saturday mornings. I woke up this morning to the smell of bacon crackling in the kitchen. Made myself a cup of coffee, went to the stoep and smelled the fresh morning air. Took a sip of my coffee and lit a Skywalker OG joint I had rolled last night. Sitting there puffing on my joint with the sun kissing my skin, my wife brings out the bacon and eggs breakfast. She asks for a skyf, I pass the joint and I dig in. I finish quickly so I can get the last few puffs of the joint. I thank my wife for the delicious breakfast with a kiss and I think to myself...this is the life

So now some unscrupulous people are using viscosity modifiers to thicken watered down vape juice. The problem is these modifiers are not designed to be used in vape products and inhaled into your lungs or heated up to high temps, hence people getting serious respiratory issues after vaping them, apparently even permanent lung damage for some people.
One of the compounding effects is due to these dodgy modified vape fluids being weak people may need to smoke a lot more than they normally would to get the same high and hence get an even more severe dose of the toxic thickener additive.

Ouch , I'm still contemplating
In my personal opinion, the HV is nice. Its very convenient and has quite a kick. Is it worth the price though, not for me personally. The high is not the same as from your normal herb. Its difficult to explain but I prefer the normal herb high to that of the HV, not saying its bad, its just different. I can also buy a @#$5 load of normal herb for the price.
You also build up a tolerance quickly on the HV.

About two weeks ago I took the plunge with 0.4 alien blue. I must say, I am super disappointed.
It's the best high I've ever had and finished the cart in a week. So it's true that resistance builds up pretty quick. I found that by the end of the cart, I had to take 5 hits to get blazed as apposed to 2 when I got the cart.
All I can say is, be prepared for the soul crushing sadness and depression that the last hit will give you

Thanks to everyone who posted about how it is and honest opinions on the high , I think I'll give HV a pass until they have a cheaper tester version. The Wife and Wallet won't be very pleased if i get something that pricey for just a few wow moments .

I suspect I may be the ideal target audience for HV. I can only partake once a weekend and sometimes only every other weekend due to other responsibilities. I suspect my 0.4 Alien Blue cartridge will last me a good while and I'm hoping that this also gives me enough of a break to not build up too much resistance.
Tried it again this weekend but my deep inhalation game is still weak. I'm wasting precious liquid trying to master this. It seems to only 'take' after a proper coughing fit. Any tips here?
Also, if you aren't listening to music on Alien Blue then you're missing out. Daft Punk's Tron soundtrack blew my mind.

Try using it on a variable wattage/voltage vape mod. I went through the same thing when I got mine and vaped it at 3.5v(coughs and tears). I found that 2.8V was perfect for flavor, no coughing but still that nice warm heavy feeling on the hold after a full lung (10 sec draw time).
