Micro dosing is more for medical reasons and not psychedelic reasons , If you want to feel a bang start with 1g I chow it with peanut-butter or nutella ( The Shroom taste is something of an acquired taste meaning it tastes horrid ) Then the next time you gooi 2g as tolerance builds fast with shrooms but beware that is some next level tripping

I ended up getting the microdose capsules. For some reason I am very tolerant cause I took a 0.5g dose which still has no effect. I took them like 4 hours ago, surely I should've noticed something.

Well the only thing I can notice is that you did zero research... maybe this is why psychedelics are illegal...

I then took another capsule just a few minutes ago. Maybe it'll make a difference. But my experience with shrooms so far is underwhelming.
As everyone else has said, if you're looking for noticeable effects, you're doing microdosing wrong.

I feel like one is unlikely to really appreciate the effect microdosing has until it's been done for a little while. I certainly don't feel any noticeable mood elevation or focus or anything like that, but I have noticed changes in the way I think and approach things like exercise and eating, for example.

Macro dosing had a noticeable, lasting impact on my negative thought loops. The negative, self-degrading voice in my head has all but been silenced by those experience. Perhaps you should consider a macro dose or two so that you can better appreciate what microdosing is doing for your thought patterns without the overt hallucinations.

When you do dose shrooms, it's fairly useless taking more after the initial dose because tolerance sets in extremely quickly. For example, 2g followed by 2g two hours later is not going to give you anything like the experience of a 4g dose.

Infused lube is quite an experience especially for the lady in your life ( Pow chika pow wow ) ... But for the dude well you get a lil suming suming out of it aswell.

A friend was tested at work for THC, the result was positive and he was declared unfit for work and has to return once a week to test, only once the person has tested negative will they be re-instated at work.

This was a few weeks ago. Since then he has not smoking/ingesting at all.

For the first 2 weeks, there was a decline in the concentration in the amount of THC picked up in the test indicating that he hasn't been consuming.

So....results
Week 1 - 98
Week 2 - 77

All good so far.....then...

Week 3 - 87.

(Not sure what these numbers mean, this is just the results from the lab)


Is it at all possible for there to be a spike in your THC level after abstaining completely.

Geez that sucks bud but yea that's how the world still works even thou it's legal for home use you can still be tested by your employer ( Which in my opinion is BS )

Cannabis can stay in a person's system for quite a while :
  • Occasional users (up to three times a week): 3 days
  • Moderate users (four times a week): 5 to 7 days
  • Chronic users (daily): 10 to 15 days
  • Chronic heavy users (multiple times a day): more than 30 days
Although it's odd that there was an increase in your homie's test as it should decline unless a different method of testing was used or faulty equipment can be blamed either that or your bud took a secret toke to chill.

Does the fact that the THC gets stored in the fat impact this? I have no idea how it works, only vague ideas, so maybe it couldve been something like this? :oops:
 
The exercise did It.

Soluble in fat so accumulates in the fat cells.

Heavy exercising will lead to an increase in circulating levels

The primary method of passing a urine drug test is to dilute your urine enough where it will be below the 50 ng/mL threshold. It’s a simple as that, but with a hitch. Drug testing labs are on the lookout for diluted urine samples. So in order to be an effective technique, you need not only dilute your urine, but to mask the fact that your urine is diluted.

Water
There is no reason to start drinking excessive amounts of water weeks or days before your test. It’s a waste of time as it only temporarily dilutes your urine. Your best bet is to drink 2-3 liters throughout the day before your test, and then around 1-2 liters several hours before your test. Don’t drink too much water though, as it can be dangerous. Start with 2 liters max and be sure to know your limits.
After drinking this much water, your pee will be colorless and have low levels of creatinine. These are both red flags for any testing lab to indicate diluted urine, so there are some additional steps you need to take.
Vitamin B
You’ll need to make your pee yellow, and the best way to do this is by using vitamin B. Vitamin B-2 or B-12 seem to be the most effective for this purpose, so stop by your local drug store and take 50-100mg several hours before your test.
Creatinine
Creatinine is a chemical waste product produced by muscle metabolism. Creatinine is naturally occurring in the human body and is one method labs use to determine if your urine is diluted. It has a half-life of three hours, so no reason to start taking it more than a day or so before your test.
You can buy creatine supplements from almost any health food store. Creatine then gets broken down into creatinine by your body and is flushed out in your urine. You should take an above-average dose several hours before your test.
 
TAKE ZINC
Zinc is reported to act as a urinary adulterant that can produce false-negative results in urine tests and may interfere with THC detection in urine samples for a 12–18 hour period. Taking capsules or powders of this mineral after smoking and before a test may help with your results.

ACTIVATED CHARCOAL
Another method to prepare your body for a drug test is activated charcoal. This substance is used medically to manage overdoses because it binds to various substances and helps the body eliminate them. Charcoal is derived mainly from wood and coal, and is activated using high temperatures and substances that expand its surface area. This porous substance has a negative electrical charge that forces positively charged molecules to bind to it, trapping chemicals throughout its large surface area.

As mentioned above, THC and its metabolites have quite a long half-life, meaning drug tests can render positive results even if you smoked or ate edibles a while ago. This is partly due to a mechanism known as enterohepatic recirculation. After consuming an edible, THC is broken down into the metabolite 11-OH-THC, and then into THC-COOH. This molecule is then broken down further into THC-COOH-glucuronide and eliminated from the body via the urine and stool.

However, the reason these metabolites can linger in the body for so long is because of specific bacterial enzymes in the gut that convert THC-COOH-glucuronide back into THC-COOH, which is then reabsorbed back into the bloodstream. This is known as enterohepatic recirculation.

Activated charcoal works to prevent this from happening by binding to THC metabolites including THC-COOH and THC-COOH-glucuronide. This prevents these metabolites from being reabsorbed, and they are eventually excreted.

Activated charcoal is certainly a method worth using, especially considering some of the scientific evidence that backs it up. In vitro research shows that 5mg of activated charcoal can bind to 1mg of THC-COOH or THC-COOH-glucuronide.



Personally I have not tired any of the above but I do hope it will help your buddy.

Caramel King, Northern Lights, Afgan and Cinderella 99. I prefer to smoke different strains all the time so I don't build up any tolerance. I think it works. Even if it does not suppose its a mental thing :ROFL:
