Is King Kushie making up shell stores and scamming? Who is this Jeff guy?

Vendors NEVER give their actual names... unless they want some (bad) attention

Literally the next evening at around 7pm I get a WhatsApp from a "private courier company" (literally some dude and a lady) and they give me a bag. Inside my bag are my buds but not my R120 gummies. Cool so I follow up on some "Hey this isn't what I ordered" and they say they couldn't secure gummies but would send them the following Monday. So here I am on a Tuesday writing a review for the worse service ever. They blocked my number because I've been trying to follow up. I didn't get my R120 gummies and so yeah I'm pretty bummed out but I hope this review helps prevent others from being scammed by King Kushie.

TLDR: King Kushie is unreliable, untrustworthy and their service is terrible.

This isn't the first time I'm hearing of King Kushie and not delivering their orders. Please let us know if there are any developments, I'm trying to suss out what these guys are about.

People really be joining a non-public forum (this section is not visible to non-members) posting as if they've been here for a while 10 minutes after joining.
 
It makes absolutely no sense. You guys are blatantly trying to do some shady stuff here and then go silent when called out.
 
Then I peep the only posts these clones make are to this thread; how on earth did you even find this thread if you're a new member?

Battle of the Clones this morning... I have my suspicions but I'd rather speak on our private chat server where the clones aren't allowed.

So Jeff is a guy that runs a weed place called happy apples. He is not affiliated with king kush in any way. I wrote that post like maybe 6 weeks ago. Why are you bringing it up now? Also what / who have you the idea that King Kushie and Jeff are connected? This is all very weird
 
And here I was just looking at King Kushie for some bud to make some CBD crispy treats. Will hold back a while... But then I only received stunning service from them in the past.
Pondering what to do now.

Ordered on the other site and then got a message from a different number with a diff bank acc (not the usual one). I'm sure it's legit, just don't want to be conned by a hacker if you know what I mean.....

Any ideas?

I spoke to HV yesterday (on the regular number) to ask about their site being down and they confirmed that I needed to use the 'discounted site'. But... before paying anything, contact them on their regular number and confirm the new number and new bank account just for your peace of mind.
 
I'm sorry to hear that some are / have experienced issues with King Kushie in the past and recently.

I also apologize for the long response here - justified though.

I have had great service from them recently (today in fact). I ordered over the weekend and only made payment this morning. I just received my full order. I am based in Cape Town. Which means they shipped before I even finalized payment. I am super happy with the service.

I had my reservations recently after they changed phone numbers & moved away from a business WhatsApp number. It was a reasonably large amount for the order too. After I confirmed that there was business continuity after a prior interaction in December 2019, I placed the order.

I personally can vouch for King Kushie to be put back on the list for verified suppliers. Based on my own experience.

We should perhaps be cautious to expect "Amazon-level" service experience from everyone.

A further component that firmly puts them in the trusted supplier level for me is that my order over December got confiscated by the Po-Po. I was wary of ordering again from them for a while, not because of them but the courier issue. They honoured the credit I had from December of over R2 700 and I just had to pay on the difference on my latest order.

So, clearly the same business. They unequivocally established trust and have given me superior service.

Go ahead and support them if you were on the fence or were concerned once the WhatsApp numbers changed.

Okay cool now I get it. Anyway I was also looking to place a fairly large order on king kushie coz of the discount they offer when you buy around 50g but now I’m weary as well. I can’t afford to lose any money right now. I think anyone that has successful orders in the past month needs to write a review so that we can get different people’s experiences
 
I used KK a lot in the past. Twice I received short and that was due to a glitch in their website. The did rectify it and I did receive my goodies. Communication was also fine and they were polite. That was around last year some time. I have not used them recently this year. Just like me people are nervous of getting scammed. I have lost a crap load of money from being scammed and by someone I actually trusted. Then I have ordered for thousands of rands and received crappy cheap stuff. Its good to question and be safe in my opinion. To date I am extremely cautious to order anything online.

On that note I was considering doing a little side line and selling some stuff I can get from a local buddy but not sure if its worth the trouble and stress of running around posting stuff. Who knows maybe one day when I actually have some extra time to spare.
