The Cheapest PC Shops In SA

Sort of reminds me of this Australian shop: http://www.msy.com.au/ ... however, the Australian shop is one of the cheapest I have seen ... sometimes when my mom goes to Aus, I look there if there is anything I can buy and drool at the prices (most are good) ... but I never actually buy :P

R620 for a 250GB? I can get it for R520 from Sybaritic... and they're not even the cheapest store...

This guy seems to be talking out of his ass. Because I don't see a single component on his "website" that is cheaper than any other. His site is also very, very, very, grade 2.

Zones has a ceiling mark-up percentage which is why they're cheaper than most stores. I asked them myself if they were sure their stuff didn't fall off a truck somewhere... LOL

And for those of you not in KZN, zones is currently working on a deal for national shipping/postage.

Oh and if all goes well, the new zones site will also be up by the end of July for the latest :)

Besides Zones ... as far as I can tell there is no cheapest online distributor ... I have some stuff at the cheapest, then prophecy has some cheap stuff, then sybaritic ... we all do have certain stuff thats the cheapest. Whats most important is service, which I know Myself, Prophecy and Sybaritic are excellent with.
 
This is probably slightly off the topic, but........ I am looking at getting a new PC, but don't have the time to build it myself. Does Prophecy build custom PC's or do they only sell components.

Do mean Build as in Literaly or build as in " put a list of components together "
Because if you need advice on components feel free to make a new thread and state your budget etc, im more than sure a buch of people will help you out.

As far as i can remember yes Prophecy do assemble the Pc's apon request, for R300 or sumting like that
 
PC International are cheap. Their website isn't updated very often, but they're a physical walk-in store, so one can just phone them or rock up and check to see if they have something or not.

If not, Prophecy and Sybaritic are decent. You can pick your order up from their respective offices if you live in JHB/Randburg.

Between those three stores in Joburg, I rarely have to rely on shipping. I don't like doing that.
