The Closing Ceremony

Looks like they striped him nakid before been dragged off...
 
Brilliant show from beginning to end, even with the twit talking about Tigers in Africa!

does anybody know how they did the fireworks at the end, as they actually came up in Spanish colours at one stage. Mind blowing to work out how they did all that! :D

Nope, you missed my prior post. I was on a breakdown and when all this happened were traveling back to JHB. So much for spite hey! Some had to work, even during the SWC! We do not all work for the government or are part of the gravy train, some have to EARN a living. I did stop at every Garage on the way to catch a glimpse tho! Last I saw was 0-0 and then got home and the Dutchman lost!
 
any one know how that projection was done? i want to know what kit was used and how many projectors there were! Cant find anything on the web

The Octopus told them what colours to use for the fireworks:D
 
closing ceremony was very good.i like.but i dislike a final WC 2010.better would be Germany-Netherlands...so horrible final i've ever seen in my life...
 
Ceremony was OK - I was at the stadium; couldnt see the airforce jets though?? just heard a rumbling.

The game was a bit of an anti-climax - not enough drama; Best games for me was the opening and the Ghana/Urg games
 
For those that missed it, SABC 1 will be repeating the closing ceremony tonight at 22h00.

Great pictures!

At least of getting attacked, I like that forum, a lot more positivity than here. And before I get asked why I don't hang out there, it is because the topics of discussion are more varied here and technology interests me more than architecture :)

It's pretty common. I was not too impressed, for South Africa it was brilliant. However, international standards are very different, and to compare this with first world countries... nuff said.
