Anyone watch the episode of the coconuts on M-net tonight? I am still wiping the tears!
This has got to be the funniest and best made episode that I have seen of a South African production.
The comic timing, the actors and the script, just brilliant:D:D:D
Man, I have a headache from Laughing so much!!!!!
 
Why were they better HelloThere? a little bit of analysis might actually help rather than just blurting out your "opinion"
 
I am sorry I do not agree, I feel the Coconuts is just another Laugh of Loud. Another example of a poor quality South African production. They will eventually run out of jokes as they begin to run out of stereotypes to play with.

back to the show, nah, LOL was really rubbish.:sick:

Today was really funny, I can like to be still in a good mood from it, unfortunately I missed other episodes.

Even if they do run out of ideas, today was really really funny and its about today, not next weeks episode or the weeks after....
 
No we are anti-getting-rubbish piled onto us...

Local TV is nothing special, it doesn't have the production quality or script writing quality of british or american shows....
Why must we accept that and praise it. We must strive to beat the quality of international fair...
 
I shall refrain from commenting the way I want to.

I shall ask how you think the script writing even begins to compare to international shows?
 
You shall not fuel the hater? what kind of abuse of the English language are you trying to peddle?

I am asking a valid question to try and get a decent response from you, rather than your constant 1 line, unexplained opinions...
 
Oh come on people.
I also don't watch South African shows, and I didn't watch some other new SA thing that was on today, and this was the first episode of the Coconuts I have watched, and it was brilliant, it really was, and I was surprised, but the actors, the script, it was the most I have laughed in ages.

I will have to watch next week to see if the standard remains, but tonights show was really funny and so what if the critics don't like the show in general, and if Toxicbunny eats pookies for breakfast, it was funny and well made.

Who here actually watched tonights show? Come on, it was soooooo well made, give them credit:)

oh pleeezzzz, just the show that was on tonight, you can't say it was bad acting, oh shucks, did anyone really watch tonight, not previous weeks, man I'm sure it was funny, now I'm beginning to wonder what mushrooms I had for supper???

I find it rather lame, reminds me of Suburban Bliss (anyone remember that?) I chuckle at parts every now & then but its all rather predictable & comes across as fake (aka bad acting i spose)
i can see myself getting sick of it very quickly, but my g/f enjoys it so I'll probably be watching it for a while
 
furnic : I am not bashing coconuts at all... I have watched an episode and it was funny, but the production quality and stuff still leaves alot to be desired if compared to international quality shows, and I am also trying to get HelloThere to explain his one-liner opinions...

hey Tbunny, the question is, did you watch tonights episode, because it was way above what I was expecting from a South African production.

I haven't watched previous episodes, so I don't know how good/bad they were. Pooky aka hellothere says they were good but I gather that you don't value his/its opinion?

It's just the mentality of the EFK. Nevermind them, they just CONTROL the forum.
 
furnic : I value everyones opinion, IF they can back it up with a well reasoned response... 1 liners don't cut it.
