Hello everyone

I am the Cooler Master online community manager but you can just call me the Cooler Master Guy.

From time to time I will post up details of the latest Cooler Master and CM Storm products as they are launched and I will let you know when they are locally available.

I am here to help you guys, to add value to purchasing a Cooler Master product.
The information that I post up will be locally relevant, you WILL be able to get these products locally and I will be able to tell you which distributors have stock.

PM rpm and ask him about being a company rep.
Thank you, I will do that.

Hi CoolerMasterGuy,

I bought a HAF-X a while ago and while it's an awesome chassis, (1) the wires of my "LED switch" fused, which doesn't work now, (2) the USB2 ports thingy completely broke (The middle part), (3) and when I installed new PC parts the other day I realised there is a grounding fault or something as the steel frame of my "coolermaster 3-in-4-HDD Module" was kinda shocking me - not a shock as such but you can feel the electricity running through it.
I see on pictures of the "revised" I/O Panel have a grounding wire, but mine doesn't have it!

Apparently the 1st gen I/O Top Panels of the HAF-X are kinda faulty :(

Now, I went to the CM site where you can order replacement parts, but apparently they only do US and Canada.

Where the heck can I get a replacement I/O Top panel?

Sure, but I was eluding to MyBB registration and all. And he might pick up some pointers on what not to do ;)

I have put in a request for the component you seek, I cannot promise that we will get one sent to SA but I should have an answer for you either today or Monday. I will PM you the moment I have a response.

Wow, really?
This would be awesome!

I've tried searching all local retailers including frontosa that distribute CoolerMaster products and I've had no luck so far, and here you help me right on MyBB!

I can't believe it!

If I'm not mistaken, this is not a semi modular power supply?

No its not but it does meet the 80 Plus Bronze standard. I was more concerned with matching in terms power supply, I can suggest a modular PSU but it would be a bit more expensive than the Seasonic.

Thought as much. Big fan of Coolermaster, but lately their pricing seems to be out. So Seasonic it is...

Unfortunately the weak Rand is affecting all brands however some older stock which was imported earlier this year will be cheaper by comparison.

'grats on the colour change, now you can knock yourself out :p Looks like you made keeper happy already.

I also just happened to have acquired a GX450 just last week. Shoe-horning into a Lian Li Q series case was a challenge however, and the purple sticker is a tad loud.

I am here to make everyone happy. :)

Thank you to rpm for making it official.

Hi CoolerMasterGuy

I am a proud and very happy owner of a CM Storm Stryker chassis. I would however like to add a 3rd HDD cage to the front. The only reason is that it looks like the easiest way of adding another fan to the front.

Can you get components like these in SA?

You can get these in SA. I only paid like R139 or something for it.

A Pic I found online of it installed: (has nice blue LEDs)
