I do appreciate I am referring to something in Jhb, but perhaps something similar in Cape Town. There's a German deli in Germiston behind Makro that sells a bunch of German beers in those 5l kegs.

Absolutely terrible. No head. Not sure what I'm tasting but it's sour and unpleasant.

Been there a few times, as I grew up in Worcester and still have some friends there. We mostly go for the food and the vibe. Big Red Ale is reasonably good and the only one I ever order.
