By crisis are you referring to the tone deaf tweeting tannie and her side kick John?

Zille is not tone-deaf. She is smart and strategic, though John is not.

In her view, the DA's best strategy was to focus on minorities and so it's now following that direction.

Whether it will be for the better or worse, we will have to see.

No, the focus was to radically integrate minorities into a unified voting block. It's simple race based politics but it ignores that you don't simply force diversity into becoming unity..... which she clearly believed. This was the downfall of the DA.

In a country where the grant getters outnumber the taxpayers the DA has zero chance.

The VF+ will continue to eat into its voter base.
True but the VF+ is playing the long game, they never tried to win the short one.

The DA on the other hand thought they could win the short game so they neglected the long one.

This is kinda silly to assume politics follow skin color and that classical liberalism is a strategy that targets minorities.

Freedom is for everyone and you are falling into the ANC talking points.

Mhhm, no, Steenhuisen is also playing racial politics, he just does it in more sneaky ways.

How convenient that he started using Afrikaans when speaking about farm violence, it's not like Afrikaans people are the ones mainly affected by farm violence.

Why does he never even make an attempt to use any other language? He comes from KZN but never makes an attempt to speak Zulu when he canvasses in Durban.

He did adopt the name of John Vuligate so he is getting there, give him time.

Question:
What happens to all the pensioners living off of charity and old age grants when either the tax payers go into full revolt, the government has to prioritise debt over grants or the departments administering it simply fall apart from decades of corruption?

Is it REALLY a good idea to leave the wellfare of the aged up to government instead of their families where it belongs in the first place?
