The Division

Challenge mode does not even feature on my Lincoln or any other maps.
My Incursion I can see the yellow POI for incursion and daily and weekly I have done last night and the weekly I am almost done with.

I have restarted my machine twice now and still no luck on the the difficulty
It only have Normal and Hard no grayed out Challenge mode.

Maybe I will see if I get a chance tomorrow night and we can hook up and see if by being in your team I get challenge again just for a test

oh wow, that sucks... i run lexington 3/4 times a night just for the PC. I find that one much easier and faster than the others.

Did you have a look to see if anyone else has a similar issue?

I haven't had any good runs in the DZ since the update, how have the boss drops been?

There is nothing reported for PS4 (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1405152-Known-Issues) and I have never heard of challenge mode missing. The only time this would happen is if you have not met pre-requisites for it and I only know that Challenge mode and daily missions unlock with level 30 (http://www.accelerated-ideas.com/thedivision/what-happens-when-you-reach-level-30.aspx) and that you need to have done the mission on Hard first before you can host Challenge mode.

Perhaps take a screenshot of Lincoln Tunnel when you select difficulty?

Have you tested other missions? Warren Gate Power Plant, Russian Consulate and Lexington?
If you don't get the option on any of the challenge mode missions, then it does sound like there's some bigger problem.

If the others work and it's just Lincoln Tunnel that doesn't, then yea, I'd go with logging a ticket.

I think the other question is if he has ever done a challenge mode? I think it might still be related to either a post-patch issue - i.e. anyone hitting level-30 after the patch does not unlock challenge mode because of a bug - could be reasonable as most people would have hit level-30 pre-patch (I think I got to level-30 within the first week and had 100% completion). A screenshot will help. Who knows, maybe he is running a demo-version

Today is Lexington according to my map?

Acid0, send me a pic of your map when you log on this evening

:D

I think Massive may want to also relook at the difficulty ramp between difficulty settings.
Normal is ok. Hard needs to be harder and challenge mode now needs to be as well. It would be nice if this wasn't equated to the number of shotgunners they send at you though :D

We basically stomped our way through Lexington with 3 people in about 18 minutes. It's largely due to the way that gear, and the way you obtain it has evolved from launch. Add to that Phoenix credits can also be obtained from fairly straight forward daily tasks, and gearing becomes slightly less of an issue.

Except if you need to craft a gear-set since RNG is so kind with drops and stats. I have not yet done the incursion, but I have now read that people are cheesing it with the cover-trick and sticky-bombs. Considering that Massive wants to push people into the DZ, this leaves non-cheaters in a very disadvantageous position compared to the cheaters getting 240 gear-sets multiple times by just logging in/out before as the incursion reward drops.

I am not a competitive player and play games like Division to chill/level up and avoid those sweaty games. So the DZ is off the map for me as long as players with overpowered gear can gank low-geared players.

Ubisoft mentioned the hotfix and considering what punishment is acceptable...

We shall see what happens

Hotfix dropped

No more 214 drops for each Hard completion. The reward is once a week

What a bloody joke this gaming is becoming - I wanted to do the Incursion this weekend and now read this:

"To prevent further exploitation until a complete fix can be applied The "Falcon Lost" Incursion weekly mission reward has been disabled and will not be granted for successful completions this week. These weekly rewards should work as intended concluding next weeks maintenance."

So in short: No incursion weekly for anyone who has not played it. All the a-holes who have exploited the game all week are able to run around with gear-sets while us casuals are not able to get it legit. No mention about rolling back gear-sets for cheaters. Not really a problem if you are not doing DZ where the cheaters will now gank you with full gearsets and high-level weapons (which Massive expired also within 3 days after needing to be DZ75 which was impossible for most of us0

That's pretty messed up. Rewarding cheaters is not going to solve the long term problems. It's kinda funny how all the exploits are being openly talked about and shared everywhere. Back in the day, exploits were hush hush cause the ban hammer was always nearby. Now it seems the ban hammer has taken a nerd as well

I saw there is a post-hotfix exploit now. Wondering if I should either play Destiny or just go "F-it, let's do the exploit to get at least high-level gear" - conflicted right there..

What did you end up doing?

I tested the post-hoftix exploit (the one with the "stairway to heaven") and it indeed works. I did not use the exploit though as I am not going to sticky-bomb something for 30 minutes. I went back and did the dailies, then hopped into the DZ (moved from DZ53 to DZ55) and then tried Incursion on hard. We got to the 9th wave (I found that staying at the right behind the generators works better than being run-over by shot-gunners in the pit) and then one player died and we could not revive him. Then another player died and then I got stuck in the wall and we tried one more time (got to wave 6 and had the same non-revive issue) and threw the game.

Ever since the Incursion DLC it feels that I take more damage than I deal (gear-score is 186). In the DZ I will empty a whole clip into a yellow enemy and it will just take the shield down (tried with: Vector/105K DPS, AK/110K DPS, Pakhan/98K DPS, Midas/105K DPS) - then I watch some other players and they melt through those enemies.

I also don't understand why people go rogue in the DZ. Everyone now has HE loot and to be honest, I extracted over the weekend about 40 HEs and everything was junk - so you get crafting material. In the DZ we got raped by rogues with >200 GS - at one extraction a 4-man rogue group took out about 10 other players with just sticky-bombs / grenades. When I went back all the HE was still on the floor and no-one took anything.

Despite the various glitches/bugs, it is still more enjoyable than Destiny, but I do think that Massive/Ubi needs to do something urgently to fix all the cheating and make the game more playable. Upgrading matts takes now 15 instead of 5 and my matts are completely unbalanced (I have no electronics, but 500 fabric / 300 tools / 200 weapon). The whole credits should be interchangable - I sit with 2,3m credits, 450 PcX and a meager 30K DZ credits. I have a ton of DZ matts and absolutely nothing to use it for.

Our incursion strat, no min stats/sets required;

Before you start

While these setups are ranked on skillpower, and naturally the more the better, we've successfully completed runs with the highest team member only having 15k before :p

Highest skillpower - Pulse (Tact Scanner) + First Aid (Overdose)
2nd highest - Pulse (Tact Scanner) + Support Station (Immunizer)
3rd highest - First Aid (Overdose) + Support Station (Immunizer)
4th highest - First Aid (Overdose) + Support Station (Immunizer)

3 Support Stations, 3 First Aids, 2 Pulses in total

Everyone runs Survivor Link.

Mandatory talents; Combat Medic (Medkits heal the group for +40%) and Triage (Healing reduces skill cooldowns)

Inside the arena

Everyone heads to the "pit" and stacks up near either one of the restocks

You'll want to get into a habit of permanently spamming your abilities the second they come off cooldown (triage actually only triggers when you gain health) - keep at least 3 support stations always running, this is a ((1-2k heal per second) x 3) constant effect. First Aid (overdose) allows you to maintain the overheal health bar for extra survivability, this also needs to be used as much as possible

The "pit" is a pretty bad spot for dealing with the shotgunners (and I highly doubt it'll be as effective for Challenge as it currently works well on Hard), but with co-ordination, you would generally only use one Survivor Link if necessary to deal with the rushers

Waves 4, 8, 11 and 15 have the bomb carriers spawn, for waves 4, 8 and 11 you want to keep at least 3 purple enemies alive while you burn down said bomb carrier, collect the bomb move back to the "pit" and wait for the reinforcements to move in.

Rinse repeat, clear down to 2-3 purples and either; split into 2 teams (2 members left, 2 members right) disable turrents, place the bomb and run back to the "pit"

Or you can rambo the APC with enough health + mitigation, I've got 70K hp 65% Armor and when I use Survivor Link I can easily get from the "Pit" to the APC, plant the bomb and I can safely get into the left room before the buff ends

Agreed, I got fed up with my lack of Electronics that I spent 1.5mil normal credits on blue gear mods to convert into parts

Spent a lot of Phoenix credits this weekend... across both characters are now GS191;

4/6 Striker geared (2x crafted 2x looted)

4/6 Sentry geared (2x crafted 2x looted)

I hovered over the buy button on steam last night. How many of you are playing on PC? Should I dive in to this?

Tks for that. I must really change my BFB to First Aid when I try it again (probably only once they turn on the weekly rewards again). I tried the pit before and found that it was too slow dealing with enemies. The generators on the front right (upstairs) provide good enough cover and we would have actually made the mission if the revive did not glitch out so many times. The only time we had a surprise was when mobs came from the door behind us, but there a sticky-bomb solved the issue very quickly.

I just want to get the Striker (got 2 already) and the Sentry GS. I have yet to see anyone get a GS in the other mentioned challenge modes (i.e. Lexington & Lincoln) or in the DZ. Yesterday I "loot-goblined" HE in the DZ - people get very suspicious when I did that.

BTW: What is the purpose of Immunizer and why don't you rather pick Life Support? As far as I could see the only status effects dished out are shock but if you deal with drones, this is not an issue.

With how much damage is being thrown around in each wave, if you get hit by a shock you'll very very likely end up dead (not downed)

Immunizer makes you immune to status effects as you know... it removes the following from the whole incursion if kept up permanently;

Shock Drones,
Shock Grenades (from LMB rushers),
Disorient Grenades (from LMB 'soldiers'),
Burn/Disorient effects of the APC's missile

With the constant healing from support station/first aid, you can ignore most grenades thrown at you :)

If you have to rely on the double rez glitch to progress (one of our team members swears by it :() there is too much incoming damage or you're spending too much time at the top of the stairs. The double rez can be detrimental because during the 'rez animation' when you get back up, you can be killed (again dead, not downed) too easily

When we have to deliver the bomb, we'll generally leave the last 2-3 snipers alive and use the environment to avoid them

The key to this method is simple, hug or stack on top of each other and keep your L1/R1 abilities ON cooldown throughout the fight

Challenge on the other hand... lvl34 enemies, takes you 1 clip to kill just a rusher, while it takes them 1 shot to kill you :o

I'll definitely take a look at the area you mentioned!
