The Droid TV thread

Just wanted to purchase 2 of these DroidTV MXIII's
Seems Company VAT number is required to purchase from AVSupply :(

I don't have a company and I need these ASAP, as they are gifts for my family... wtf do I do now?
This is not necessary. You just have to register, add to cart, checkout, pay and thats it.

Adding a VAT number is optional. If you don't have one, don't worry about it :)

Thanks.
I got confused cause the text "VAT number" was in red, and all your required fields also have red *required text.

Maybe change it to black text if it's not required lol.

so business can buy from you in Bulk?

The VAT number field is for companies that need their VAT number on the invoice

Companies and the general public can buy in bulk, there are no restrictions

Thanks.

Will do :)

I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else:
A few times now while watching a movie on my DroidTV MX3, playback suddenly stops and freezes. If I press "Play" the video resumes but the audio is a loud crackling/static sound. When I exit the movie and resume it works fine from then on.
Any ideas what could be causing this and how to fix it?

Which firmware are you on? Kernel version and build number?

I've had times when the movie I watched just switched off, actually switched the entire box off. No biggie, but a bit annoying. It's been few and far between tbough.

Would a 3G dongle perhaps work on one of these boxes? Or is it missing something internally to pick this up ie some Cell signal?

Interesting. But it can be done? Just tricky to do it I take it

Tricky? Like Run DMC tricky?

It's Tricky to rock a rhyme, to rock a rhyme that's right on time
It's Tricky...it's Tricky (Tricky) Tricky (Tricky)
