A friend of mine has also reported a problem with showmax on the 582. Try and download a previous version of the of the app as he had it working previously methinks.

i was looking at the mygica 1900 pro. would this be a good one or are there other i should look at ?
Do you have a link to the specs of these?Get a Mibox International Android TV 6 ...Poor man's Nvidia Shield but perfect for Third party apps and 4k Netflix and DSTV Now

Take a look at the International Version of the Xiaomi Mi Box which is also sold by Walmart in the US. This is one of the very few android based devices that can also stream Netflix, Hulu etc. in HD. If you download and purchase via the Aliexpress app as a new customer you should get a $5 off coupon which will reduce the price to $64-99.

Got myself one of these last night for just under ZAR1K.
How long did shipping take?
Gearbest just gave me $40 refund for a courier parcel that was sent with free shipping. Gearbest now uses Aramex which is three to 5 times less than Dhl. Takes up to 7 working days. Duty is nothing or R400 with Aramex handling fee. Waiting 50 days to save a few hundred Rand is a joke. For $90 with shipping you can have a Mibox International in two weeks max.
Middle East is amarexIt depends on the product I think, I ordered an airmouse and Gearbest only offered Middle East Express for priority shipping. Whereas the Mi Box offers Aramex.
Middle East is amarex
No idea.Ah. I see.
Edit: For interest sake, why do they use two different names?
Before the sub $10 Aramex shipping option I can see why people didn't want to pay $30 to 50 dollar Dhl when the item cost $35. But now with Aramex it really is a no brainer. No idea.
Agree on paying a little more and getting it sooner. Two items this month from Gearbest, one picked up 4th, delivered 9th in Durban. Second one picked up 12th, out on delivery today to me in Durban. Online tracking, shipping cost me $9.00, it's for nothing.
As a last point. Ditch the thought of getting DSTV NOW to be fully supported and run without problems. The APP is broken and will not give you the full picture. If you want live sport, do not conciser SuperSport as your APP. The streaming for both DSTV NOW and Supersport are so slow and breaks up all the time. Rather look at alternatives.
cyber7-out
Not sure what you're on about, both DSTV Now and Supersport work a treat on my Mi Box
