I'm talking about running the app on the mi-box, not casting to it
Oh my bad. Yeah it works pretty well but the picture is slightly dimmed. The leanback interface works nicely tho. But honestly if you have an android device casting is for me the best option.

Any recommendations for a air mouse please. Currently leaning towards the Mele F10 pro or mx3 from avsupply.
Nothing wrong with mx3 remote. Only problem I experience is the keypad isn't lit up. Trying to type out someting on a movie night in the dark is a problem. Buy it off the wish app for less than R150 delivered.

Personally, I find the service from AVSUPPLY the best.

For the best "Remote in hand" my personal favorite is the $5 geekbuying WiFi remote. i can stand in my kitchen and change channels about 10m away. You can get them here: http://www.geekbuying.com/item/2-4G...troller-For-for-PC-TV-Box---Black-362552.html

I bought 2, as I am quite heavy on remotes, and the first one is still surviving 7 months later! AND the battery(s) is still the originals...

BUT, use AVSupply if you need something more advanced. You will not be sorry about the service!

Hey guys,

considering getting a Mi Box... is it possible to use an iPhone as an air mouse at all? I see there is an Android TV app on the iOS store but not sure it will work as mouse? More just like a regular click controller?

Thanks.

Nope not as an airmouse.. The android tv remote app works the same as the Mi Box remote.

So I got a Sansui with Android TV installed on it, Showmax and DSTV Now do not work due to them believing the device is rooted, yet running root check shows it's not and so does hide my root. So apparently what Showmax meant by Android TV support was to put a little tick box to change the layout.

Run a drm check to see if it supports widevine. Also, what version of dstv now did you sideload?

I didn't have to sideload DSTV that's the odd thing, only Showmax. I'm going to check the wide vine thing

Is there a better DSTV Now apk that plays better on Mi box. The one I'm using I can't make it play in full screen.
I'm running the current version released in June.

Uninstall and install an older version that DOES work?
