Is this made by Matricom?
No, their version is going to be called the MXQ
I wonder what's taking so long to release it?

Hi guys. New to DroidTV. Still feeling my way around. Need help on xbmc please. Anyone know how to add videos kept on a couple of networked PS3s (ethernet & LAN) to the library? Know next to nothing about networking.
I tried to play a m2s clip from a Dolby test website to test the system but with XBMC get only sound no picture. If I choose movie player -works fine. Strange..
Thanks. Any prep required on the PS3s? Couldn't see them over the network (regardless of which option I tried in xbmc eg. upnp, etc)? Will try again tonight with your suggestion.
I'm putting together a rooted update that includes the old launcher
I'll post the link here when done
Two other movie apps that I find very useful on the DroidTV MX which could possibly replace both Netflix and Hulu Plus are Show Box and Video Mix (do not require XBMC). This video shows both of them in action - skip to 5:30 for the details.

Was wondering if you had put your custom rooted 1.2 update together. Would like to try it. I am currently running vanilla 1.2 on one of your DroidTV MX boxes.
Hi Alex
The Wiki should help you - http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=XBMC_Quick_Start_Guide
Look at the "Adding videos to the library" section and add a SMB share in place of folder in step 4. After pressing OK you should see your network servers. Browse the one you want to add and select the folder that contains your content
XBMC works best if you seprerate TV-Shows, Movies, Music, Pictures, into their own folders
If you add a "Movies" folder, make the content type "Movies". If you add a "TV-Shows" folder, make the content type "TV-Shows".
Creating structured media folders and setting the correct content type will generate a nice media library
@AVSupply - tried adding an SMB share under videos in xbmc and got this error : "Error 2: share not available". Any thoughts?
Guys can anyone help. On Dstv my wife loved discovery ID, Fox crime and CI. Does anyone know from where i can stream some of these shows or channels? It is getting lonely on the couch since i canceled dstv...
I was trying to test the m2s clips yesterday but it seemed as though the droid was having issues with the usb hard drive.
It seemed as though it could not power it consistently- it's a 2.5" drive.
I disconnected the drive and put it on my laptop and it worked ok.
Any thoughts? Could the droid not be powerful enough to power the drive sometimes?
