The Droid TV thread

Guys believe the hype ... It's awesome on our platform of choice
No Allwinner or Rockchip GPU comes close to the AMLogic player in terms of media playback, quality and the like. The factory and AVSupply puts a lot of attention and detail into these boxes.

To game with the Xbox 360 wireless controller, you will need the USB wireless receiver. I'll test with one tonight and confirm it does or doesn't work

Plug & Play!!

Worked first time :)

How much Jaque paying you? Lol

I know off topic, but how can I set the above pic as my avatar? I've been in profile settings, but can only find edit avatar and no option for a custom one.

Hit a little snag with my MX3 Droidtv I'm hoping someone can help with:
Got myself an external 16th sdcard. Recognised by OS with no problems. I've run the little app that comes preinstalled to fix the KitKat bug but still can't move any apps to the Sd card.
Do I have to use the same method as described for the MQ box (use link app) or is these another solution?

Hi guys. Ext HDD linked to MX2. Want to be able to play (and stream?) movies from MX2 to a hand full of devices (Windows laptop/s, Windows PC, PS3's and a few Android mobile devices). Is Plex the way? If so, is there a Dummies guide out there?

What I am finding is that these boxes powerful for people who know what to do. As an out the box solution for Grandma, I would say no, but for most tech savvy people, who can at least be guided on what to do, these boxes are amazing!

My next step is to get my Media-PC sharing my XBMC library to the box. Plex works and looks ok, but the Aeon XMBC interface is just a lot smoother and more fitted for the TV box purpose.

A big big thank-you to Jacque from AV Supply for his help and all the other guys here who have guided and helped me out. I convinced a friend to take the plunge and he is now the proud owner of a MXQ as well.
