Ok, Netflix and BBC iPlayer errors are originating from operating the box using ethernet. Switched to wifi and the problems don't reoccur!

I get a lot of 'stuttering' with Netflix. Every few minutes it would pause for a split second and resume. I've tried different versions of the app with the same results.
Anyone else experience this?
I'm on 110k4. I have the 2Gb MXIII and I know how to flash.
I haven't used the tool before. If it fixes the problem then I don't mind. I can backup and restore xbmc.

The only thing i hate about the MXIII is its remote. The keys make a lot of noise you I press them.

I dont understand why rooting is not an optional feature of the Droid TV because I'm sure like me there are others that have no need for it and it is becoming more of a burden for us.
Get a fire tv. Works well with DSTV now, supersport and a remote friendly version of TVPlayer and iPlayer.
So I take it you don't need to root the Amazon TV to sideboard the apps?
No. I have a non rooted fire tv and I sideload apps. Amazon intentionally allowed sideloading on the fire tv.
