Agreed. My iPad and iPhone can only connect to my car with the BT, nothing else. My S4 connects to anything I want it to.
 
Quite impressed so far. Need to fine-tune some ssettings tonight and test out DVD ISO's and 10-bit 1080p movies...

Good investment anyhow!!

Anyone notice differences in sound volumes for some encodes? Did not experience that in my Mede8er... Some programs are just very soft in sound volume...

You playing through a receiver? Or straight from tv the sound?

We will only start selling them again if we get ICASA approval, which can take a few months

You can't blame them, they had every right to report us. Companies that sell wireless products need ICASA approval

Now that we know that, we will make sure to get our products certified and approved

Is it not possible to disable the wifi and sell it with firmware disabled wifi? People can buy a compatible USB dongle if they want wifi... or find a firmware that has it ;)
Wifi is easy to disable on the unit AFAIK.
 
Pheww, got one just in time then. Remotes will have same time delay I suppose? Stock remote will have to do for now, I suppose. I need my pause button...

Then i hope all of the Minix resellers also have Icasa approval to sell their products. I know of a few in South Africa and the same with a few other brands.
 
I'm trying to register my brand new mx3 on DSTV Now and I'm getting an error " Device registered to a different user". Any ideas?
