I have ember on my MX2 but when watching something, be it from a HDD or a stream, it seems like the display freezes then resumes and the same with the audio. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Can it he the ember firmware?

No. Mines running perfectly.

Except can't play newer HEVC H265 files (not supported by the hardware).

Ugh ... China wants to be first with everything ... the last octacore SOC was a huge failure with no development on it ... I'm also not a Rockchip fan ... AML is better video quality wise. The Tronsmart Telos was also a huge let down and the same applies to the Orion R28 that they released. A box is as good as the development for it.

Nice find thought, I like it :-) ... not the box - but the post.
 
The Tronsmart Draco was the worst - I saw 1 firmware update ... ever! Octacore CPU and decent video SOC /GPU but no support.
Bad video playback etc ... I don't believe the hype - ever
